Location is Superb....the view was incredible it was a good place a little uphill but manageable , lobby looked welcoming and rooms were simple but good.

The hotel was beautiful and the property was good. The ambiance was serene and calm, which i loved the most.View from the room was good and beautiful.The service generally speaking about room service needs to be improved.Otherwise amenities were good. Food was good and high priced. Yet we enjoyed it.Restaurant provides tasty food. Had a great experience.

Shimla is more of a commercial city rather than a hill station. Except for the Mall Road, there is hardly any place worth visiting. The hotel is quite far from the mall, although the hotel insists that Mall starts from the hotel area. The hotel was much smaller than our expectations looked cramped for space. The low ceiling at the reception area made it look rather suffocating. The rooms were also were small but well maintained. There was problem with the geyser, which was soon repaired. The housekeeping and room service were horrible and many a times we lost hopes of getting our orders. TV remotes were provided only after repeated requests. On our return we found that our rooms were not cleaned There were absolutely no activities. The food was good although costly.

Best Experience: We were upgraded to delux rooms from semi delux rooms, due to non availability, at no extra cost. Food was good.

Worst Experience: The house keeping never picked up the phone. TV remote and drinking water were supplied only after lot of phone calls.
