Location of resort is good being on backwaters but reaching the resort is difficult. even though we had a local driver but lack of signages made reaching the resort a long & tiring process. in most of other CM resorts signages are a plenty and self navigation is easy. once there setting is overwhelming. floating cottage is a good experience and sizable compared with other options on Ashtamudi backwaters. but food taste is average though hygiene is good. service is too slow.

Best Experience: time spent in pool with family was a good experience so was speed boat ride in back waters. driver was friendly, courteous and care taking.

Worst Experience: food service. we ordered for a kerala chicken starters, but were served a fish starter that too after 30 min and when we asked the replacement, our dish came after main course is served and that too it was overly done and burnt

Good resort, but far from town and you are stuck in the resort if you do not have your own transport.

Best Experience: Sitting on the lake front and drinking tea.

Overall a very nice experience. The resort is very cosy and has very good ambience. Very quiet place...far away from city noise ! Rooms are also very well done up...Not too luxurious but thoughtfully designed. The small sitout area outside the room overlooking the backwaters is very nice and makes the whole experience a memorable one! The staff is also very courteous and friendly. One must also try the massage center...its very good

Best Experience: All tours arranged by the holiday activity center, with the best guide / transport option

the resort is located right on the asthamudei lake ...with the restaurant projecting into the lake ...a prefect place to idle away your time....the food is OK ..w/o being out of this world ..the same can be said about the rooms as well...nothing extraordinary..but tastefully done...overall experience is good but one should not compare the services/rooms with the rates charged...then one could walk away a little disappointed ...u do not pay for the room ..u pay for the ambience/location of the resort at \"Asthamudi resorts\"

Best Experience: we could rejig the time for the boat trip ...on short notice and save time ...the resort staff were very co-operative to our request for rescheduling of the cruise timing...

Worst Experience: we were rudely told to stop festivities by 9.30 in the night ( though we were not using the mikes) and also that we would have to skip dinner ,if we delayed beyond 10.30.pm)
