Hotel Review of Avion Holiday Resort
Comments: Been a couple of times to this resort. It is rather plain to put it mildly. Small parking lot in front. Simple reception. And simplt decor of the entire place. Location is poor as resorts go as it is right on the main Bombay Poona highway. Rooms are too plain. Just basics, nothing else. The entire resort is too cramped for space. Food average and somewhat expensive. The resort is too expensive like any place in Lonavala. The swimming pool is too small, and dirty so avoidable. On the whole the place is avoidable.
Best Experience: None to write about. Breakfast is about ok.
Worst Experience: One of the smallest and dirtiest pools ever seen.

Location of the resort is very good- just in midtown, but the quality and quantity of food in the package is very poor. Not to the standard of the resort. So I personally advise not to take meals there; just opt for bed and breakfast!...

Hotel Review of Avion Holiday Resort
The overall experience was slightly better than average. Actually the place Lonavla itself didn't live upto my expectations of a Hill Station. Being a resident of MP, having better hill stations like Panchmarhi and the whole of Satpura Range of mountains, the place Lonavla seemed more of a town on the crowded Mumbai-Pune highway. This might be a better & most easily accessible weekend retreat for Mumbaiites or may be Puneites....

Overall, a satisfying experience and good value for money. The pool is not much use since its the size of a very large bath-tub, but other than that enough to do for parents and kids alike. Very central location, most places in central Lonavala are walking distance....
