Hotel Review of Upper Deck
Comments: For us The Upper Deck Resort has been the most horrendous experience of all. We booked in Mumbai through their office with a certain Ms. Usha with an advance payment of Rs. 20,000.
Upon reaching we found that the rooms were nothign like the pictures on the net and the toilets were pathetically dirty. (For the same price Fariyas felt like heaven). We did nto check in and requested them for a refund. The GM said he had no authority and Ms. Usha would decide for us. Upon calling her, Usha said she too had no authority and we could leave and our money would be refunded later. It has now been almost a year. We have made umpteen calls and written several emails. Both the GM and Usha have simply not responded. We were cheated out of our 20,000 because we have got NO REFUND AT ALL ffrom them.
In our past 8 years of travel in hotels all over India, we have never been cheated of our money. We would warn people to go to Upper Deck lest they lose their hard-earned money to this bunch of swindlers.
Worst Experience: They stole our money and never refunded

Fantastico! to begin with. We are not really much of frequent travellers but out of all the places we have been so far in and around Mumbai, i should say Upper Deck at Lonavala is the best. The beginning itself was interesting, we had to park our cars down the hill near some school with whom the resort had an permanent arrangement. Hotel Review of Upper Deck
We were pleasantly surprised by how well the resort was maintained. Everything was spick and span and the lawns were lush green and trim even though it is hot summer. The layout of the resort is very nice and there is plenty of room for kids to play. The staff were courteous and helpful (specially Ratish Balan and Vikas) and the chef was good at making sure our palates were well satisfied...

Hotel Review of Upper Deck
The resort is good. The surroundings are beautiful with a great view of the lake. The resort is nicely built. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is courteous and prompt. The food and facilities at times give a feeling of being cheap. e.g. there was table tennis for recreation, but the rubber on rackets was kept intact using nails and thump pins....
