Best Experience: Hotel guys helped us a lot tying the knot for kites which later moves up high in the Lonaval skies.
Worst Experience: Maintenance of swimming pool was not up to the mark specially boundry walls. Need immediate painting

"This was the worst ever..."

Worst Experience: Your toilets, bed sheets, water containers (which labourers use) which are kept for guests use are totally unacceptable and it in a pathetic state. Shame on Sterling Resort for using and providing such filthy facilities for your customers. Please see photographs as evidence of your Resort facilities - I guess this is the management standard !! In conclusion, I would never again want to use Sterling Resorts or suggest to anyone using it.

Best Experience: The view from the tiger and echo points is very good. You are at the highest point in Lonavala with a 200 degree view of vertical cliffs and valley deep down from where the strong winds rise upwards cooling you. During monsoons the area gets covered with passing clouds- a very enjoyable experience.
Worst Experience: The so called resort-Sterling, was our worst experience at any place. There is no activity for any one. The so called pool was filled with dusty water. The rooms are not maintained. When we checked in, the AC was not working and it took sometime before they could find out the reason-some remote switch somewhere. Then we found mosquitoes humming. When we asked for goodnight mats, they took out one from adjoining room. The geyser too was not working and they supplied a hand held one to put in the bucket. The breakfast took one hour after order and when it did arrive, the toasts had lost crispness. When we wanted to complain, the manager was found to be on leave. Hope others planning a visit to Lonavala avoid this place. The people at Sterling are simply not bothered about complaints from customers.
