The holy shrine better known as Lord Karthikeya temple is completely dedicated to Lord Murugan, son of Lord Shiva. Located in the Rajpuri Caves, the temple has also made the caves an attraction. Away from the humdrum of teh city, the lush verdant greenery and serene atmosphere makes the place even more attractive. Thaipooyam festival is celebrated with great festivities and hundreds of followers come here to take part in the celebrations.
