Everything was excellent in the hotel. I didn’t use activity in the hotel. I had visited this hotel for official purpose. I didn’t face any problem in the hotel. There was no delay in check in and checkout process in the hotel. The room was spacious. All amenities were provided in the room.
Place was good with best lake view. Food and service is the main attraction here. 12 kms away from chikmagalur city. Place is located in between coffee estate. And at night time campfire facility is also available. Overall good place. Road condition is not that great, but one can manage.
We, a very big group of 100 people had booked with a package under TSS Entertainments. It was a school excursion of all high school girls. It was a fantastic stay with all the best from them. Our girls felt very happy, protected, safe and at home. The service was excellent with smiling attenders. The officials at the reception were too good to bear our naughty girls. We were given every type of room since we were a large group but all rooms, were maintained well and were good. We thank the hotel authorities, especially the manager and Mr. Arun Kumar, our organizer for arranging our stay in such a good place with good hosts.
Good cool awesome room. Nice stay and room. Nice place to stay. Cool weather. Nice weather cool place highest peak of Karnatak. Food was tasty. Service was good. Hotel location was good and nice interior of the room.
I booked this Homestay over phone & was allotted a room without hassles. Mr. Vignesh Mohan gave details of Homestay. He stays in Bangalore who takes bookings. His father Sri. Mohan who is the owner of bynecool plantation farm runs the Homestay. He is gentle & very humble. On 26 th September we reached Chikmagalur & called Mr. Vignesh to guide me to Chikmagalur. Soon he called me & said his father is waiting in Chikmagalur town. We met Mohan & followed him to Homestay which is about 11 kms from town. On reaching we were offered hot coffee which tasted so good. Check-in was very smooth. We were offered a room with attached bath & toiletries. We had earlier told that garlic should not be used. Lady Cook Smt. Prema asked us our choice food for lunch. Vegetable pulav, raita, sabji, white rice, rasam, sambar, papad, & rotis were served. Delicious food. It was raining in the evening & we were served hot mirchi bajji, & other bajjis with hot coffee/ tea. For dinner malenad special neer dosa with chutney were served it was fine. Myself & my wife enjoyed the food. Next day for breakfast Smt. Prema prepared hot paddus with chutney & coffee. Mr. Mohan arranged for a taxi to go round hill station. Mr. Krishna owner of taxi took us to mullianagiri, data peeta, & other places. It was awesome weather & enjoyed every bit. After 5 hours drive thro' we reached for lunch. We had chapattis which were not so good. We should have asked for some other food. Again in the evening we had snacks. For dinner we had masala kaki rotis. Next day breakfast was set dosa with chutney it was so good. Overall our stay was very good. Thanks to Mr. Vignesh, Mr. Mohan & Smt. Prema(cook). We hope to visit again. At least 2/3 families should go to enjoy. One drawback is there is no mobile connection depth BSNL. Good for families. It is safety. Go & enjoy.
The overall stay was good and the booking was done through phone. I stayed there for 4 days and it was very comfortable staying in this hotel. The hotel is located about 1 km from bus stand and the hotel location was good. The appearances of the hotel were good and it is an old hotel building. There were no problem at check-in and checkout and the staff service was good. The rooms were clean and neat with clean pillows, bedspreads and blankets and they provided TV and geyser facility. The rooms did not have any view and they provided food, it was good in quality and taste. There were no activities available. It was worth for the money what we spent there and it is a recommendable hotel for all the travellers.
The location of the hotel was good and convenient. The appearance and the surrounding of the hotel were good. The staffs were helpful and caring. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There was plantation view from the room. The food was tasty and delicious. Overall experience of the hotel was superb and would love to recommend this hotel to other travelers.
When I travelled to Chikmagalur then I stayed at Lotus Pond Home stay. Hotel was good. I stayed there for one day. Location and appearance of the hotel were nice. Services were excellent and on time. Rooms were very clean and very spacious. Basic amenities like TV, geyser, everything were available in the room. Food was delicious. Both veg and non-veg dishes were served in the hotel. There was no outdoor activity available. I faced no problem during check in and check out timing. Chikmagalur is a beautiful place as tourism. Hotel was recommendable for other travellers.
We stayed in the homestay for 3N and 3D. We were a group of 3 families and hence we had the full cottage (it totally has 4 rooms) to ourselves. The location of the homestay is absolutely awesome. It is nested on the hills well into the interiors of the estate. It is very calm and beautiful allowing you to enjoy nature at it's best.
We went there expecting basic living facilities and we got more than what we thought. The place itself was very nicely maintained. There was this huge garden and a whole lot of flowers. Food was really homely and very good. Host was very pleasant. We enjoyed a lot.
