"Beautiful memory of great hospitality by hotel "

Posted 23 Apr, 2016

Lotus sutra is situated just right on the beach. This property is beautifully maintained by management. Hotel staff is cooperative that one can leave this place with a beautiful memory of great hospitality by hotel staff. Beach cottages with sea view are best which they offer but tariff is too high. There are various beach shacks on the beach near to the hotel who offer different cuisines. This hotel has its own in- house restaurant but that is closed during off-season.

"One of the best hotel in Arambol Beach"

Posted 23 Nov, 2015

Best thing of this hotel is location. It is just on the beach. Only bad thing is, they don't have any pool and in evening they have voltage (Power) fluctuation issue. For this reason room AC will not be working properly in evening. The hotel main beauty is beach and greenish area. It is very well maintained also. They have a restora, which is very good and pocket friendly. Room Tip: Please take the wooden cottage

"Nicely located on the beach with good staff"

Posted 22 Nov, 2015

I was on a beach break and had a good experience at the hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights and found the property to be really good. It's located on the Arambol beach and you can easily walk to the main beach. The atmosphere is good and it looks like a resort. The staff is courteous and listens to you. They offer 2 small water bottles free for every night of stay. They have many different room options and the one I stayed in was a small single room which is apt for solo travelers. The room was nice and clean with attached bathroom, towel and toiletries. It was a fan cooled room and I was very satisfied with the room. The only troubling part was the WiFi. The WiFi connection was mostly down and that seemed to be an issue with the whole Arambol region. But even when there was WiFi, the connection would keep fluctuating. It was frustrating as it would take a lot of time to do even one thing. And there was no signal in the room, so you have to be at the common area or near the router. An advise to the travellers - You could bargain a bit for the room's price. Since there are so many options of stay in the region, they would be willing to offer the room at some discount.

"Dedicative service staff and yummy food"

Posted 27 May, 2015

We planned to go for honeymoon tour in February 2015 and stayed in Arambol for a week and booked this hotel Lotus Sutra and we found the hotel service really awesome because of the helpful and dedicated staff. The hotel is not so well furnished with interior and exterior decoration but it's affordable in place like Goa of Arambol. The hotel is run by the couple who are very friendly and they treat their customers very well. I liked the food of the hotel which was very yummy in taste and very hygienic with all good quality oil and food products. Apart from that the hotel takes the intake of only decent people so I was very happy with that and there was no much distraction of anything or even noise. It was peaceful staying here for me as well as my wife. So I request all those people planning to hangout in Arambol specially with the family to book this hotel.

"Nice hotel especially for it's price"

Posted 9 Mar, 2015

We visited Goa during new years from 27th Dec, 2013 to 2 Jan 2014. The place was a basic beach-house located on Arambol beach and is run by a couple who stay there as well with their kid. It wasn't right bang on the beach like the beach shacks but was close enough and centrally located to be able to see the sea from the balcony. It was a 3 floor small building newly constructed but had been given a creative old and rustic appearance. It was a no frills place, i.e. no AC, no TV. Hot-water was mentioned but unavailable when we stayed. Do not expect any hotel like facilities or ambiance or even service staff. Overall, it was a very informal atmosphere but a pleasant one. The service staff was by local boys about 24 yr of age, but they were polite and quick with their work. Room cleaning and housekeeping services (informally by just telling the boys) were only on request and not like in hotels where the staff comes at a fixed time. An electric kettle and fridge was provided, although no tea coffee premixes were kept and the kettle looked as if it was untouched for a very long time. The fridge was the standard home small sized fridge and not the extremely small unit normally found in hotels. It definitely did the job to cool our drinks. The rooms and bathrooms were small, decent, neat and clean, but the mattress was quite uncomfortable. Although, the mattress from the beach beds were provided to us which were much more comfortable. The food availability was easy as the property was on the beach and there were lots of beach shacks that come up during season time. i.e. from October onwards. All in all, you can definitely stay at this place, but only if you're in a group of friends. If you're with family, I would advise to spend a little more and get a better place. If you're with friends, and you want a cheap neat and tidy place to stay, then you can definitely consider this place.
