Mangalam Hotel Reviews

Lucknow is a city of Adaab n Kebabs Visited lucknow on March 30th and 31st with my family comprising of 2 Uncles, 2 Aunties, my mom and myself and my sister,son,and wife. Did not expect much from this hotel as per reviews. But was happy to see the room condition. The Manager is very friendly. The hotel site looks a little clumsy, as there are many shops in the gr floor. But overall it is very good. Sorry! there is a disadvantage specially for those with the big family like us. There is no restaurant so you have to take food in your rooms. No outside food is allowed. It becomes very difficult to accomodate food and people during dinner or lunch.

The stay in the hotel is comfortable. It is located in main business centre &convenient for stay.

Best Experience: Welcome by receiption on the day of visit is very nice and applaudable.

Worst Experience: Though the lodge is comfort, the reception is good, the way the treated while leaving lodge is the most worst. I have booked room through agent for one day @Rs.1700/- as I planned to stay only one day at that time. But due to non completion of work, I extended one more day and at the time of extention they informed the tarif as per card rate is Rs.1790/-(inclusive of tax) and they will allow the rate @Rs.1500/-(including of tax), but to my astonish,while leaving, the have not kept the words and demanded to ay Rs.1790/- and no discount will be allowed and discount will be allowed only if the room is booked through travel agents though the same is not informed while extending. Though the amount is not matter, the behaviour is not expected.
