Cycling tour from Kerala through Mysore to Bangalore and Che
Hey all,
A group of youth from Kerala are gettin all prepped up to go for a cycling tour from Kerala, ie fom trivandrum - calicut- sulthan bathery - mysore- bangalore- chennai on Oct 24th, which is the International Day of climate action..
the followihg are th objectives of the Cycling tour - The Green Ride '09
a) To create awareness among people on Climate Change
b) To involve and encourage student participation in such environmental activities.
d) To harness the power of the media through the course of the tour in order to reach a larger group of society.
e) To ensure safety norms at all times with emergency backup support.
f) To partner with regional NGOs and organizations and create a climate action network.
g) To utilize corporate support for ensuring a successful event.
and the route from sulthan bathery to mysore takes through Bandipur National Park..what i would like to know is that -
>>how many hours on cycle from sulthan bathery to mysore through bandipur national park..?
>>how many hours to cover bandipur national park alone..?
>> how safe is the journey thorough it..?
>>is it possible to get accommodation in between..?
>>what is the best time to start when we want to cover the park area..?
could you guys please help me out on this..?
also, we really want max participation for our tour, so if any of yu peopl want to join, please feel free to do so..to get a message out to the public that the time to ACT is now and that its upto us the youth to get on with our mission to save our environment, we really want max crowd to have a max impact..
so expecting full support from each and everyone of you..please do give me a ring if possible,tht'd be great..we really can do something together, something concrete and something really big..coz, we need the world..
