MTDC Beach Resort Ganapatipule, Ganpatipule
Excellent Location for chill out. It was my fourth visit at same resort. Loved this resort, rooms are very good, spacious & clean. staff is very good. Restaurant is good but slightly overpriced. Food quality is good. Ample parking space available. Very close to beach & Ganesh Temple. Security doesen't allow outsider hence nicely secured place. In process of completing executive cottage at beachside & i am excited to plan my next visit in executive cottage.Full marks to MTDC.
MTDC resort is next to the Ganpatipule beach. The property is also well managed. However one has to do booking well in advance to stay here. It is occupied quite fast.If you dont get availability here there are other resorts and hotels near by. Although there are not much activities to do inside the resort, but you can always go and relax on the beach.
We visited this hotel in the month of December. It was an official trip. The destination was good. The environment of the hotel was not so good. The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception and front office services were very good as there were no delay in check in and checkout. The rooms we were provided were good and was neat. The staff's at the hotel were good. The food and drink provided by the hotel was good and we were served both veg and non-veg food. The overall services provided by the hotel were good.
The location of the hotel was good. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was good. There was no delay in check in and checkout. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and quick in services. The room allotted to me was good and it was well maintained with all required amenities in working condition. I did not eat food at this hotel. There were no activities in the hotel. I will recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.
This resort hotel is just on the beach front and is one of the prime properties of MTDC. It has direct access to the beach which is the biggest “brownie†point. Book the sea view deluxe AC rooms it gives one a spectacular views of the beach. The whole beach front is clean white sand. The Upkeep of the resort and the rooms is just average or may be a shade less. The rooms are just fine and so is the service level one cannot expect much knowing its ownership. There is the Ganpati temple towards the end which is easily walkable. The in-house restaurant serves typical Konkan food...enjoy the thali.....very few options to look for in restaurants....not many sight seeing places either......its purely a break away from the hum-drum of city.!! all-in-all one can have a decent enjoyable stay.
Tarang Restaurant is located inside of MTDC premises. This is one of the best restaurant in Ganpatipule to eat veg and non-veg. It is located very near to Ganpatipule Beach. Seating arrangement and surrounding is beautiful. Food is very tasty. You stay at any hotel in Ganpatipule, but eat here. Your stay will be very healthy.
The hotel was located inside the city. There was no delay in check in and checkout. AC, TV and geyser was provided in the room. The complimentary breakfast was not provided in the hotel. I had visited this hotel with my family. The hotel was located nearby the transportation. The bathroom was clean and hygienic. The destination of the hotel was good.
Ganpatiphule is a small beach town near Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. It is one of those less visited and hence very clean beaches in the state. I visited the place with my mom. We had done our bookings in MTDC resort. The Resort is well known in the place, so no problem reaching here. the locals guide you well. Although nothing very fancy, the resort is clean and well maintained. the staff is extremely polite and welcoming. I must mention that this is the only resort in the area that has a direct beach access. For me, ganpatiphule is one of those places where i go when i am in the mood to go to a quite place and lounge by the sea. Therefore, having the direct beach access was a must for me They also organised a little visit for us into the nearby village. it was quite nice. The ganpati temple is located right on the beach, so we would walk to the temple daily at sunset time from our hotel. overall, i can safely say that this is the best place to stay in ganpatiphule. A word of caution though, food is not all that great especially if you are a vegetarian. but if you like konkani food, well u wont be complaining then
I went to hotel with family. The interior and exterior part of the hotel was excellent. The check in and checkout process was done on the time. In the hotel staff's behaviour was co operative and responsible. All amenities were provided in the room. The Wi-Fi facility was not provided in the room. The activity was not there in the hotel.
the mtdc resort has the best location in ganapatiphule with a direct access to the beach. although a beach town, there arent too many accommodations near the beach. however i did not like food much there - it is rather oily (but i think this is usual konkan belt food). having said that, the rooms are good and spacious. we stayed in an AC room. it was fairly clean (like all mtdc places). the staff was very friendly and helpful. a word of advice - this resort gets sold out very fast, so especially on long weekends you really need to plan ahead and book the place
this is the best holiday i can ever remember off..coz this is the first time i went out with my gf, and later married her this year.. it still remains in our fresh memory.. and for the humour ( i got married yaar) hehe.
The cottages were very strategically located. One can see the sea from the bed itself. The cottages have a separate dressing area which was very convenient. If one gets the ground floor cottage then the front lawn is very good to sit and watch the early morning sunrise and the sunset too. While you sip your tea one can admire the beautiful view of the sunrise or sunset.
truly awesome. ganapatipule was a slice of heaven and the best way i could have celebrated the onset of the new year - with friends, a bottle of beer and the sea at close range. white sands, clear gentle waters, beautiful sunsets, picturesque flocks of birds and the occasional bullock cart race - ganapatipule was the perfect get away from mumbai\'s throngs. three blissful days spent alternately lazing on the sand and frolicking in water! Getting there was quite easy, we took a night train to ratnagiri and from there a shared jeep (rs 25 per head) that dropped us off right at the MTDC resort. the first glimpse of sea one gets during the drive is breathtaking. Because of a paucity of rooms we ended up booking the MTDC tents; that certainly turned out lucky though. The tents (apart from the konkani huts) have the best location - they\'re approximately three minutes from the waters edge. Basic, but clean and quite comfortable, guests can opt for two and four bed tents. The tents are equipped with fans, beds (with blankets if you need them), a table, chairs and a cupboard. What they aren\'t equipped with is an attached bath! There is however a common bath and loo facility a few minutes from the farthest tents. Contrary to expectations though, except for a rather sandy floor (which is to be expected considering one is living on the beach!) the bathrooms were quite clean. For 4 rs. you can even buy a bucket of hot water. There is a resort owned restaurant, where you can get your meals and drinks. The food is nothing exceptional and quite regular. That\'s the one drawback to staying in the tents, the trek to civilisation and alternate feeding options is quite prohibitive. after the first bout of enthusiasm (first days lunch), we resigned ourselves to the limited fare provided close at hand. I wouldn\'t recommend Ganapatipule to those who want hectic sightseeing on a holiday. There is the temple one can visit, just a short way away from the resort. Close to the temple is the marketplace, where you can pick up the traditional kokam aagal or syrup and some truly delectable pedas - well worth the ten minute walk along the beach. Ganapatipule is ideal for those who want to go an relax with no fixed agenda. Definitely recommended to anyone who\'s a beach enthusiast. It\'s been the best holiday i\'ve taken in a long while. Just a word of caution though - it\'s the sort of place that inspires thoughts of settling down with any odd work required to eke out a basic living; Leaving it to start the journey back to the bustling city is an absolute wrench.
we wanted to have a peaceful break along a beach side and so we selected the destination \'ganpatipule\'. We had been hearing a lot about this place through friends...and trust me...the place so divine n peaceful...blue beaches...n white sand. and to much of our surprise...the beach was so clean and unpolluted. also it was not so crowded and so we could actually enjoy playing in beaches with friends without any worries. there\'s a beautiful GANPATI temple also... We had very delicious VEG meals served to us.... the rooms were cleaned every morning and beds covered with crisp white bedsheets and even fresh drinking waters were kept 2 times a day...overall a wonderful experience!!!
Hotel location was very nice and it was located on the beach. I faced no difficulty to find this hotel. I traveled there by own car. Surrounding of the hotel was neat, clean. Services were quick and staff behaviour was nice. Look of the hotel was beautiful. Parking facility was available there and it was nice. Painting, furniture and other things were well maintained. Room was neat, clean and well maintained. Pillow, bed sheet, blankets and other things were in clean condition. AC, TV, geyser and other necessity items were available in the room and they all were in working condition. River view was visible from the room window. I took veg food in the hotel and it was tasty. Many varieties were available in food. Check-in and check-out procedure was on time. I was happy with their room. Nothing was available in activities. Hotel did not organize any sightseeing trip for us. I will not recommend this hotel for travellers. Hotel was little bit costly. I have no complaint about this hotel.
