Trimbakeshwar being a little place, the lodging choices are restricted. on the off chance that you HAVE to stay in Trimbakeshwar, then MTDC Resort is the BEST alternative. The rooms are huge, yet exceptionally essential with very little office. Sufficient parking spot and they give dormitory to Drivers as well. The eatery has great quality sustenance however the menu is exceptionally restricted. The MTDC resort is on the city's posterior. better to utilize the ring street. The inside streets of the trimbak city are exceptionally restricted. Rooms are substantial. Yet to be updated. Veggie lover nourishment is great. Adequate parking spot is accessible.
I would love to go and stay in this hotel again. I loved the hotel employees cooperativeness and hospitality. The overall experience with the hotel was great. The food was very tasty in the hotel I really enjoyed. A very religious tour it was for me :)
REVIEW ON TEMPLE, HOTEL STAY, FOOD & TRAVEL TO TRIMBAKESHWAR TEMPLE :Must visit this temple atleast once in lifetime.Don't just visit the temple , also visit the other nearby places on mountain tops . After visiting the temple , check all the nearby places and do visit them by car/auto and some by walk on the mountain tops - brahmagiri etc . Temple is very old & the dome is beautiful , After the darshan , do look at the dome from all sides to see the beautiful carvings and Pots aligned one above the other. The temple is not on a mountain , but on a plain land near the mountains. It has four gates .Many devotees visit this holy temple for performing pooja' to remove their kal saraph dosh or marriage problems etc Lot of Pooja's are done around the temple by bhatji's. The nearby village is full of bhatji's who perform poojas for a group on particular days and have their own halls for performing the pooja & lodge for stay The pooja are done in batches and take 4 to 5 hours .The pooja samgiri is provided by them . The devotee only needs to buy , Coconut , 5 suparis , a cotton lungi / paijama & Towel or saree and inner garments and a golden sarpah for the pooja. After the pooja , all the clothes are to be left there only. All clothes are available at a cheaper rate near surya narayan chowk . Two small shops specially sell all items at a cheaper rate near the chowk. A Cotton sarees cost between 160 to 200 rupees and Dhoti/paijama & towel cost Rs 150 to 200.The Nag sarpah is available at Rs 350 at all Jewellary shops near the temple and suryanarayan chowk With so many devotees visiting the temple and funds coming in through various sources , still the temple is not well maintained , wires all around , walls not cleaned or painted , I was really feeling sad , that such a important historical temple is not maintained properly. The temple is maintained by the village trustees and not by the govt. As i had gone for the first time , after reaching we were searching for the temple , as it was surrounded by houses , shops and hotels with no open space near the temple boundary There is historic kund for taking bath , again which is very badly maintained . The colour of water is green ,but do take bath in the kund. IMPORTANT THINGS - STAY & FOOD :Stay at Krishna inn - best in comparison to any hotel , as hotel is just bang opp the temple , accepts credit card ,big rooms , food is hygienic & good though little bit costly , the hotel has a generator incase of power failure , ambiance is good , accessible to nearby restaurants and shops. There are other places to stay near the temple ,but as we had no booking , we stayed at MTDC ( mgd by sanskruti ). MTDC is ok , Rooms are basic, service is basic ( only 1 service boy ) , no intercom in rooms, open restaurant ( small shade for cooking ) , no hot water , no glass , no plates in room. Before checking in , pl get the bedsheet changed at MTDC or any other hotel ,check the hotwater , check whether the taps are running & also cooling of AC. At MTDC there was no water in our room for 4 hours. Major hotels accept cash , so carry cash . ICICI and SBI ATM's are available only near the temple. For snacks and food - hotels are available near the temple . Also some hotels offer thali system ( Gujrathi , Marathi & South indian ) near the temple , price ranging from 70 to 120. . THINGS NOT TO CARRY IN TEMPLE :Mobiles , camera's etc are not allowed in the temple, can be kept in the nearby or opp shops who also offer lockers . The charge per mobile is Rs 5 , leave the chappals in the shops where you keep ur mobiles. Do not buy pooja baskets -tokari ( Rs 50 ) ,flowers , garland etc because as the moment you enter the temple premises , two ladies collect all the flowers etc and dump into a bucket ( which i think is recycled ) and allow you to carry only a chuni and bel patha as offering . Devotees get fooled ,as they are not aware and buy all sort of pooja flowers and samagiri. Instead the money can be put in the Danpeti( hundi ).At the temple entrance , there will be ladies selling green grass at Rs 10 for the cows. Do not waste money on giving grass to the cow instead buy some food to the old people sitting near the temple . I was just wandering , how much will these people make the cow eat , just to earn money . Fruits - Guava ( 30/40 per kg ) , kaju , kali maina, local seasonal fruits BEST TRAVEL ROUTE BT CAR FROM MUMBAI : Route 1 - Mumbai - igatpuri - Satpur - Nasik Trimbak highway - Trimbakeshwar Route 2 - Mumbai - igatpuri - Ghoti - Ghoti - vaitarna road -Trimbakeshwar - small road from ghoti will lot of curves & blind turns ,but get to see lot of greenary , beautiful mountains and landscapes , lot of farming ( rice , gobi , capsicum , tomato etc ) and Vaitarna river Hope the review will be useful to someone sunny
I had a very enjoyable stay and was very comfortable at the hotel. The location was perfect for me. The room was excellent, clean and modern and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The breakfast was mostly spicy stuff, which is ok for a few days but not for longer periods.
This place is a typical MTDC resort.Good location and quite near to the temple with no temple noise around which we found in alot of hotel at Trimbakeshwar before we settled for the MTDC resort. For a room with 3 adults and a kid ,the place for a night cost about 2000.The room was not great but it was good enough for a night stay .The room service was fast and efficient. The hotel at the resort was mediocre. If you can drive back to Nashik,go for it, else the resort is the best option in Triambakeshwar.
I stayed in the MTDC Holiday Resort. This hotel was easy to locate and the destination was good. The appearance of the hotel was maintained well, and the staff members in the hotel are helpful in services. The food in the hotel was good and the quality was good too. There was no delay in check in and checkout procedure. The room allotted to me was nice with needful amenities but there was water problem. There were no activities in the hotel. The stay in the hotel was good and I will recommend it to other travellers. The hotel was value for money.
Hotel was not at all good. No problem in finding the hotel but many problems were there like water, electricity, and it was in a congested area. It was located in front of the temple. It was not suitable for families because in front of the hotel there was a beer bar. I did not have food there. No activity was there. Railway station and bus stand was far away from the hotel. I stayed there for Darshan before 2 years.
Trimbakeshwar being a small place, the lodging options are limited. So, you are better advised to stay in Nashik. However, if you HAVE to stay in Trimbakeshwar, then MTDC Resort is the BEST option. The rooms are big, but very basic with not much facility. Ample parking space and they provide dorm to Drivers too. The restaurant has good quality food but the menu is very limited. Beware of the Brahmin suggested by the Resort people. I bargained and managed to get Pooja done at 25% of the rate quoted by the Resort Brahmin!
It was located conveniently and not faced any problem with it. The staff behaviour at this hotel was good and cooperative. The room was good, spacious and well maintained also. All the amenities were worked properly. There were no delay happened in check in and checkout process. The appearance of the hotel was good from both interior and exterior. I think the stay at this hotel valued my money and would like to recommend other travellers to go and stay there.
The hotel is located conveniently with good ambience. There were activities and indoor-outdoor games organized by the hotel. The room allocated to me was neat and clean well-maintained with good ambience. The food provided to this hotel was good and tasty. The hotel is about thirty minutes far from the hotel. The hotel was valuable for the money we had spent and recommendable too

Locaton and sarrounding is superb.Staying in resort is not convenient as far as location is concern unless you have your own vehicle, which in our case was not there. There was no vehicle available from the resort to the Temple. Rooms were fine but not maintained. Room service is not very effective. Even Restaurant is also not equipped with proper crockery/cutlery and seating arrangement. They have shortage of manpower which is effecting the service.
This experience here was pathetic. The place was under renovation. In the room allotted to us the flush was leaking. You had to tie the toilet seat to prevent it from falling. There was no mirror in the bathroom so I could not shave and there was no hook hangs clothes in the bathroom. There were lots of problems at this place. The location of this resort is good. It seems that all the problems had to do with the renovation that was being undertaken over there. They gave us more food items than we had asked for just to increase the bill amount. The quality of the food however was ok. I did not enjoy my stay here because of all the difficulties I faced here. There were no problems with check in and check out. We had taken our own vehicle so we did not require the hotels transport. I have visited this place before many times and did not face similar problems. I plan to visit this resort again when I go to Trimbakeshwar. One of the staff members was very cooperative and helpful.
it is a nice place a nice stay with great experience, place is very spacious n sprawling, the food is quite nice and the location is very scenic. stayed here for 2days we enjoyed our stay, food was okay... over all it was a nice stay, nice experience.
wonderful ambiance lovely place well trained staff, room was very neat well maintained, food was very nice in quality, the service in this stay was too fast, the people are very good, over all a nice stay in a lovely location.
