Hotel Review of U Tan Sea Resort
Comments: It is one of the quiet places, in Mumbai and away from it at the same time, to just relax and unwind yourselves with your loved ones. We had gone with our three year old kid and the staying experience, the location was fabulous. As a couple we loved the calmness and scenic beauty of the place and its food as well. But as far as kids / chindren are concerned ther eis not much for them except a swimming pool that is common to all - adults and / or kids. I am sure couples will love the place but if anyone plans to go with their kids along then better to have a big group with you and to carry some kids toys / entertainmetn along with yourselves. Still a great place to stay for atleat a couple of days.

Traveling to this beautiful resort is easy if you have a vehicle. Even otherwise, taking a bus from Bhayander station helps. It is better to have your own vehicle as it is easier that way. Rickshaws will charge you anything between 100 to 130 rupees, but if you are paying 130, ensure you are getting dropped at the foot of the resort. Walking uphill is not at all a good idea there. Great location. Extremely convinient because of proximity to Mumbai city. Ideal for liesurely weekend break from hectic lifestyle of Bombay city. Just relax in the verandah watching sunset and mildly crashing sea waves. Best destressing remedy! Walk towards fisherman's village, play pool football in their swimming pool, watch sunrise and sunset... This proved to be gr8 relaxing and re-juvenating experience....

Our expeirence at the U-Tan Sea Resort was very good. The location and the appearance of this resort is good. The restaurant service and front desk service though is a very slow, definately needs some improvement. The food is okay. The swimming pool is great. The Sunsets are amazing from this resort....

Spending a long weekend at a resort near Bhayander, one can do better than that. But alas! you need to plan early. No rooms available at most of the places. So you settle for this one, thinking whether it would have been wiser to stay at home. Mumbai suburban trains are the best and fastest mode to reach Bhayander. From there you can board the Bus number 1 (reads like 9 in Marathi) to U-tan resort. Don't confuse it with...

The place is quiet and pleasant. Ideal for someone who is looking out to relax and laze around. Not much activities to do other than watch the huge expanse of the sea and dip into the swimming pool. Not many options in the menu card as well but whatever is available is edible. Rooms are pretty good....

we went as a bunch of 6 women and have to say that there was not a moment that we felt unsafe. great location, as long as you're okay being in the resort only. very co-operative staff and incredibly prompt service. pleasant to have been there....

The drive to the U-TAN resort was truly wonderful. It was not far from Mumbai, and was a real boon and non-exhaustive. The drive through the Uttan village was also interesting to get a glimpse of their culture. The Resort was beautifully located and a perfect destination for weekend relaxation....

Well to begin with the journey was quite a long one...the place is quite far from bhayendar station..100 Rs. by rickshaw. Once u reach the resort, u realise that its really at a great location. On top of a cliff overlooking the vast ocean, makes u feel refreshed after that long journey. The office or reception is a small room and it took around 40 minutes to get our room ready. It is not a beach resort as beach is not there at all. Sea is there which is full of stone and you can't go there. The direction is poor for the resort especially near resort itself. Over all ok....
