Hotel Review of Grand Resort Hotel
Comments: We thought the experience would be grand like the name of the resort itself.But it was not to be.The garden area was good but the children play area was pathetic.Almost all the play equipments were rusted and it was poorly maintained. not a place to go if you have kids below 12 years. the room service was also lacking on many counts. although we did not opt for the food but our driver had it there which was not great either as per him.The resort has a swimming pool but did not see anybody using it in the two days of our visit.
Best Experience: The reception staff was quite polite and courteous.The resort had bi-cycle for hire scheme for the kids which i thought was great.
Worst Experience: The room was not cleaned even once in two days.The hand shower in the Toilet was not working.The cable system didn't work most of the time.

experience was horrible just because of the hotel. The hotel should concentrate more on the room facilities and services than on the garden maintenance. The staff members did not know the 'S' of service also....

Location of the Resort is very good away from market place. Rooms are good but not clean. Whn we asked to clean the Room the response we got was 'Since you are staying for one night we will clean the Room after check out' :-))). Phone in the Room was not working. Bathroom door lock was not working. Thr was no electricity for the whole night and the generator was also not working properly. Overall wat I can say...

The resort spread over about six acres is full of plants and trees of every conceivable variety. Mr Rajinder Kumar who set up this place in 1975 and whom I had met earlier was not around this time. Grand resort was quite a decent place - though we had not expected to spend much time in the room itself, but an unexpected turn in weather saw us sitting it out in the hotel. The rooms were not gr8 - the bathrooms had been recently renovated, but still the maintenance by the staff was clearly missing. Overall satisfactory. Following are the details Entrance to Hotel:- Suites their tag ' A Hotel for Nature Lovers', diversion from the main road beyond ST bus-stand, in to the forest kind of atmosphere.
