Comments: mahabaleshwar was great - the weather , the scenes.
the food at ishwar inn. complete homely experience. away from the maddening crowds
Best Experience: moving around on horseback to chinaman waterfall. on route to pratapgad fort.

Worst Experience: the maddnenig crowd. traffic jams, litter everywhere. looked like a suburb of mumbai

Mahabaleshwar being my personal favourite destination, the overall experience of the place was smashing. Resort location is great, your are surrounded by dense forest, get to feel some refereshing moments at dawn. View of the valley on one side is mindblowing in the early morning. It fells like a whole blankent of clouds has desended in the valley. One can see Lodwick point in the distance. Rooms were quite spacious and basic amininties were good, if not exceptional. The Ishwar Inn is one of the better hotels in Mahabaleshwar, and in its price category, I think it is one of best. The resort is located in a dense forest area overlooking Lodwick point and is not far away from any of the good spots, at the same time being tucked away to be free from holiday rush-hour. Hotel Review of Ishwar Inn Resort
Overall it was nice and memorable experience of Mahabaleshwar trip. I was there to celebrate my second marriage anniversary. Resort was located at nice place. Food was excellent and restaurant staffs were nice. Rooms were so so and there was no live entertainment apart from indoor games. The resort has good garden. It was also not far from main market and Veena Lake....
