Hotel Review of Ideal Beach Resort
Comments: It was really enjoyable & hassle free vacation I had with my wife & daughter last May’07. The staff was friendly & efficient… the room really nice & cozy….. Swimming pool cool and really enjoyable. But the best was the beach…. You can spend hours sitting there all by yourself & nobody to disturb you. I would surely like to visit again!!

We were here on New Year Holidays in 2007. Very nice hotel. I would say actually this is the best hotel in Mahabalipuram. I can say it because we go around all hotels here and this one atrracted us most of all. The most impressive here is a beach with palms and hammocks and clean sand. The staff is friendly. Hotel Review of Ideal Beach Resort
This is my second visit to this resort. The resort is very well maintained (in spite of the Tsunami in 2004) and all the cottages have very good facilities.The house keeping is excellent. The bathrooms even in the standard cottages are done-up very well and maintained well. All rooms have the latest flat screen TV and a minibar. The service is discreet , very friendly and quite prompt. The leisure activities are minimal, but the atmosphere here is to relax...

We visited the resort soon after the Trsunami hit the coast and hence the facilities offered were a bit below par for the price paid but then that is to be expected. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience....
