Hotel Review of Quality Inn MGM Beach Resort
Comments: The overall experience with the MGM Beach resort was really good. All the people especiallly front office, restuarant folks, and the room service folks, all of them showed remarkable hospitality. The food is another thing you will always linger upon. When I write this review, I crave for the MGM buffet. The buffet had good spread and all the dishes were very tasty. The swimming pool is very big and moreover clean( which you will find rarely in chennai due to the water problem). The entire resort and the surroundings are kept very neat. Its definitely worth the money you spent!
Best Experience: We had booked 2 rooms which was in the month of December( which is supposed to be the season). We stayed there for 1 day, the checkin and checkout is 12-12. We got up late( 11am) on the day we are supposed to checkout. We were quite disappointed since we wanted to use the swimming pool that day also. We checked with the front office folks, and they agreed that we vacate one room only and then can keep our luggages in the second room, and use that room till the time we checkout. We did that way, and they allowed to checkout at evening. Till then , we could use all their facilities inclusing swimming pool. This is just an example, there were many small incidents which refected their amiccable hospitallity.
Worst Experience: Had none.

A weekend-break from Chennai is most enjoyable at a comfy beach resort. But, our two-day break was during the weekend where Quality Inn MGM was deserted. So, while check-in (without any pre-reservations), we asked to show us all the rooms. We choose, a room with a lake-view and open shower area.
