Hotel Review of MTDC Holiday Resort Harihareshwar
Comments: Excellent, If you want to enjoy your holidays at Harihareshwar, must stay at MTDC. Very nice place, near to seashore, very good food... Service staff is very much cooperative/ polite & willing to serve. Room tariff very high/ food little expensive, etc.
Best Experience: rooms all equipped with basic facilities i.e. TV, cable connection, geyser, AC, 24 hrs water supply etc. Even the MTDC hotel is located in a rural area, the people staying near by suffer because of load shading- but MTDC provides generator back up for more than 12 hours in a day. It is the best part of hotel as according to the room tariff the same is not affordable for them. Dolphins are visible from the cottages put as dinning area.
Worst Experience: No coverage for any telecom service, all fail to provide cellular connection for the hotel though the place is very happening in that particular region- no cellular industry has taken initiative to think about the customers- for few people it is an advantage as they prefer to enjoy the holidays without any calls.

We stayed in tthe Deluxe rooms (supposedly facing the sea). The location was quite ok though the trees obstructed the actual view of the sea. But the rooms could do with some renovation. Simple things like cleanign the rooms or even cleaning up the AC filter (choking with dust and muck) can be taken care of. When one rents a deluxe room one expects that these will be taken care of. certainly not a place for family and kids, they have no activities to do what so ever. The road itself (reaching there) is a beauty for a driver whose hobby is driving, the temple and the pradakshina marg is too tempting and soothing to eyes. but be careful of wearing footwears in pradakshina marg in summer otherwise your foot skin might just disappear....

As usual, MTDC has the best spots on the Konkan coastline.
