Malancha is located on the north-western side of Kharagpur. One of the most popular attractions in this place is the Dakshina Kali Mandir, built in 1634. The Nandeswar Siva Temple, Siddheswari Mandir and Balaji Mandir are also often visited. Towards the north of Malancha lies the Temple of Khargeswar Mahadev. Local beliefs state that this temple was built by either Raja Kharga Singha or Kharagmallah of Bishnupur Dynasty. The holy tomb of Pir Lohani Baba is also visited by many.
