Quirky Trail to unexplored Mallali Falls, Coorg

We started our day coorg trip with a drive to Mallalli Falls. These falls are little offbeat but gorgeous as heaven. Mallalli Falls deceits in the foot of Pushpagiri Hill Ranges, where Kumaradhara river takes a plunge over 200 feet. The Fall from height creates a scenic view. Water falls into a gorge surrounded by lush green mountains. It is the fascinating beauty little away from Madikeri. The sound of Snow-white waterfalls and the calmness surroundings will enforce you to bond with Nature. It Monsoons are best time to see these falls. This fall are around 80 kms from Madikeri and the road till this fall is beautiful with some breathtaking landscapes in between. It was drizzling when we reached there, which added to the beauty. To have the whole view, you must descend a lot of steps. But it is worth it!! If you are planning to visit Coorg next, take time and get down to feel the breeze of this mesmerizing falls.

One of the best waterfalls I have seen

The experience of visiting this place is heavenly, specially during monsoon. Last 3 km, you have to either walk or hire jeep. From the drop point, the water fall is visible and then there are steps to go closer to the falls. more closer you go to it, more you will appreciate it's beauty.

This is the falls to visit if in Coorg

Very beautiful, the trek to the falls is the best. Very clean. Requires 4x4 enabled jeeps if you have to visit. Very dangerous, so stay safe.Watch out for leeches.Best time to visit is during rainy season to experience the true beauty of the falls.

Pristine waterfalls

Mallalli waterfalls is a pristine spot situated in the heat of coorg that gushes like milk from about 140 feet gorge. A moderate trek of 1.5 km through coffee plantations leads us to the view of waterfall. Another 350 odd steep steps will take us to the foot of the falls. The trek is not for the faint hearted .The view of the falls is breathtaking. Its a must visit spot for nature lovers and is located about 12km from Madapur.

Beauty at the botom of the earth

This place is for youngsters only as you have to travel in jeep and then walk for about 2 kms to reach the falls. The amazing nonpoluted spot gives you a great relief and if you go down to the falls (about 500 mtrs or more to reach the bottom falls) you can enjoy more....No closeby hotels or stay arrangements. Few homes will provide you food. But while going to the falls on your way you have to order and then while coming back you can have nice food...

Had nice and adventurous experience in rain

Had nice and adventurous experience in rain. didnt get the chance to take bath and play in water as we were very later by that time. Adventurous experience as the road is very very bad due to rain and insects like leech, snakes and Scorpions.

Waterfall in centre of the forest

Mallalli falls is situated in pushpagiri mountains.A amazing waterfalls view in rainy season. Other season it's just empty. Travelling here a biggest task. You need to hire a private jeeps to reach this place and should be able to walk for 1 kms from the dropping place..It's a hidden place
