Hotel Review of Arif Castle Hotel
Comments: We visited Nainital on 4th July. It was a short trip for 2 days. We reached in the evening there. Coz we haven't booked any hotel in advance so while searching for the right hotel, we luckily parked our car near to Arif Castle. The hotel outlook was quite impressive so we decided to check if any room is available. As we entered in the hotel, we found the reception area quite beautiful and impressive. A person at reception welcomed us. He offered us a package for 2 days (with breakfast and dinner). And after some negotiation; we decided to stay in this hotel.
Overall exp with the Arif Castle was quite good. I liked the hotel reception and outside area, they had actually good spaced out there. one can enjoy the nature and surroundings. They have ample parking space as well. So in case you are going by your own CAR, there shouldn't be much problem. Room were also good with enough space for 2 person. Though the hotel is on a straight hilly road (must be 60 degree angle :) but they have free pick and drop facility till 9 pm and it was quite fast also. There were good recreation activities and indoor games available which is enough to make you busy for the whole day. But they had made some of the facilities paid :(. Food was so so. But overall it was OK. Last but not the least, they have a discotheque also, But its more or less some light arrangements with nice speakers, which is enough to make your family step on the dance floor. It is actually meant for family purpose.
I would recommend this hotel and would like to stay again if get a chance.
Best Experience: Free pick and drop facility and discotheque.
Worst Experience: Not worst but they there is much scope of improvement as far as the food is concern.

Nainital is a beautiful hill station, with a choice of moving around to smaller beautiful lakes in the near by areas. Arif Castle is an average hotel however, there is a lack of direction signs to reach the hotel....

Hotel Review of Arif Castle Hotel
I have just returned from my Uttaranchal trip. I stayed at Arif Castle along with 50 students. It was an extremely mind blowing experience. This resort is located at a height away from the commercial Nainital. Their jeep service to and fro is great. The staff is extremely co-operative; our children were safe there and their lovely discotheque kept all of us on our feet. The Ayurvedic spa, delicious meals, warm staff and brigadier Brar have created an everlasting impression...
