| Malyavanta Raghunathaswamy |
|
|
|
Built and constructed in accordance to the Dravidian
style of architecture, the Malyavanta Raghunathaswamy temple, 3 Km down the
road from Kamalapur to Hampi, has peculiar and interesting motifs of fish and
marine creatures adorning its inner walls.
A
steep road leads to the temple
of Malyavanta Raghunathaswamy,
one of the few temples where people go to worship even till this day. Behind
the temple are several sunset points, where the mesmerizing scene of the sun
setting amidst the huge boulders or monuments can be observed, with a lovely
breeze aiding and bettering the experience
The temple
of Malyavanta Raghunathaswamy
strongly echoes the aesthetics and principles of Dravidian art and architecture,
making for an absolutely exquisite structure whose splendour and grandeur has
not waned even after the passage of several years.
