Mamallaa Heritage Hotel Reviews
It is very nice environment. Nice and clean for the money. Suitable for family. Food are little expensive, it takes too long when order food. Rest it is very fine. Worth for the stay. Family stay I recommend.
Though it's situated at a stone's throw distance from the Mahabalipuram bus stand it's so quiet and serene. Nice ambiance even though it's on a busy road. Parking facility is just adjacent and adequate to accommodate at least 20 cars. The rooms were large and clean. So were the bathrooms... But didn't essential toiletries. The restaurant though not....Read More
Overall room and services are good. Food is costliest but not worth. They don't have bar. Still in their website they say they have minibar. You can stay but eat outside. Bathroom is not that good. Very little space. Morning complimentary breakfast is good. But no non veg.
It was pleasure to stay at Mamallaa heritage. Great atmosphere. Great location. Service is at par. Swimming pool, food quality is great. Fantastic reception and good cultured people at reception. One of the best part is cleanness.
We had made last minute plan to Mahabalipuram.. Found good reviews about this hotel and indeed all was true. Location almost near the sea shore Temple, clean rooms, awesome pool. If you want a budget hotel this is the place to go to.
Rooms were neat and clean. Well maintained. Awesome service. Overall I can say one word. "Excellent". Food was good. Swimming pool well Maintained. Hospitality was good. Location of the hotel is very near from heritage. Staying in Mamallaa Heritage feels good.
The hotel is good and the staff are very polite. But it is not worth the money that we paid. The locality of this hotel is very good. The roof top hotel in here is very cozy but the dish variety are very limited.
Very easily accessible to all places of visit. Food is slightly overpriced. Very courteous & helpful Staff. Complimentary Breakfast is with very less options. Swimming Pool & Rooms were clean & well maintained. Overall nice & calm place to stay in Mahabalipuram.
It's centrally located and very close to monuments, shore beach as well as mahabs beach. Othavadai street where all the cafes and restaurants are is very close too. The rooms were clean and the ACs worked well. They have 2 restaurants - one veg, one seafood. The buffet breakfast was very good too. My only complaint would be, they would do very well....Read More
Hotel is at walkable distance to all the sights. Only drawback is, there is no lift. Complimentary breakfast is just excellent. Staff are courteous. Food taste is good. Parking is enough. I will prefer to stay in same hotel if I visit Mahabalipuram again.

To put it in short, we were thrilled to be pampered. The room was luxury at the rate provided - including the ac, the plush bed and the room corner mini-bar refrigerator! Room service was excellent, the front desk was extremely cooperative, and the overall service was smilingly delivered. Food was delicious, though a few dishes were a shade spicy to our taste, but that may be entirely personal preference.
Excellent location with beach nearby. Nice swimming pool with good dining and service, with rock sculptures near by, extra large AC room with optional beds for children and above all really low price. Next time I will try to stay at the same place.
About the location, just drive/ walk towards the bus stand and you will find the hotel on the right before reaching the bus station. Standard room is small, may not be suitable for family with kid. Other than that, service and hospitality are excellent and many attractions in Mahabalipuram are at walk able distance from the hotel (except the five rathas). Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will recommend others.
My only complaint would be, they would do very well to have an electric kettle and provide for tea/coffee options. Would recommend it. Please note - they don't have an elevator (if you are travelling with elders).
It has great food and service. The swimming pool is good. Location is convenient for the Shore temple. Rooms in the ground floor are old and not great. Cleanliness was bad but later the room was cleaned on request and resolved. The phone numbers are never answered by the hotel. We wanted to know the status of the booking and also the weather before leaving, but they never answered the call despite being a weekend. We tried calling at multiple times of the day.
