Comments: we just got back from our trip to manali. well, i think the ambassador is one of the best hotels in that area. it has awesome view, good rooms and good service. since it was the off season, we got a good deal and we got lot of peace. it is a little away from the main mall area, but if you are looking for some soulful time, this is just right ! the mall is though walking distance from the hotel.
Best Experience: good rooms, and good service
Worst Experience: the food is pretty sad ! i am a total foodie so the hotel food was a big disapointment, whether it be breakfast or their indian or the chinese.

I am not biased here and writing my review solely on my experiences after having the experience of staying in lot of different places... Reaching Manali can be tedious if you are travelling by a normal or deluxe bus. Volvo is the only comfortable bus for Manali. The resort is located ideally with a terrific view of the moutains (though you have to pay extra if you want that view). It is easily one of the best resorts in Manali. Very good location, surrounded by Mountains filled with snow. The cottages are constructed in such a way, that no one will miss the scenic bueaty of the snow bedded mountain. We were the honeymoon couple .We got are bookings in a day through one agency with much ease. excellent,albiet a little expensive....try going in off season, august service is fantastic and the people extremely nice and co-operative food spread is good though the happy hour bar is a little wanting and the liquor a little flat place is beautiful nestled in the himalays...you wake up to a wonderful morning surrounded by snow caped mountains on all side and the Beas river serenading you as it flows down the valleys has a good travel desk managed by Shiva Gowtham...
