Hotel Review of Apple Country Resort
Comments: Overall experience was excellent. Hotel staff was very professional and hence not much of humor to add although i would love to have one incident.
Best Experience: When on a day, the heater was not working, we got a standby portable heater in 5 min. We were able to check in at 9 am even though our booking was from 12 noon only. We had our breakfast packed neatly and hygenically when we wanted to leave the hotel early in the morning.
Worst Experience: Not at all

Located at the peak of log huts area, one gets to have a spectacular views of snow covered mountains from the room balcony in the morning even during peak summer days....

I stayed there for 3nights 4 days. The hotel is very good .It has got the advantage of the best location.I love it .Only thing if it does some work in its rooms like the tvs and stuff this is a heaven to stay in manali...

Overall hotel experience was very bad. In website it appears to be the best in the town, but in reality its entirely different. Room condition is very bad(old doors, windows, bathroom fittings, bedsheets, carpet etc). Waiters are arrogant and non-responsive. No quality in buffet breakfast. Poor view from rooms although its in Hilltop. I would suggest holiday makers to look for some other quality resorts like Holiday Inn etc in same package cost....

Me and my wife had gone to honeymoon, i had booked in Hidimba cottage and Apple country, both were good. This was one of the best Hotel i stayed in. The trip to manali was amazing. 4-6th December 2006 i.e. days at manali are one of the most memorable in my life. The hills are b'ful, the landscape breathtaking, surroundings serene and the snow seems like symbol of purity. Overall the experience was fine and I would say balanced as it was a mix of good and not so good moments. I guess I stayed for longer than required (6 days) in Manali. Though the scenic beauty of the place was fantastic and the snow capped mountain view is like a picture captured in my mind forever, Manali as such has limited sightseeing places.
