Manali food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Sight seeing requires three full days. One day for snow point which includes solang valley, rohtang pass. Another day for Kullu manikaran which has natural hot water springs. The last day for local sight seeing. One can spend the evenings on mall road, loittering with your pals or special some one. Shopping is fine with not too expensive merchandise. The food is a bit expensive. But considering that every item is shipped to the hill top from down below, one can expect the prices to be like that. Rest, warm clothes and shawls are fine. There are three 'tension-free' shops which offer the best prices on garments and apparels.

Comments: homely place and bring your family members closer as we are more associated in activities like sports, indoor games, socialisation and make new freinds
Best Experience: good place to repeat at the first possible oppertunity
Worst Experience: not worth mentioning

Hotel Review of Club Mahindra Snowpeaks Timber Trail
The stay at Club Mahindra was pleasant and went without a hitch. The property is situated away from manali centre and is less crowded. It is smaller as compared to Club Mahindra properties in Goa or Munnar. But is as clean and superb as them. The rooms are large enough to comfortably accommodate 6 of us adults for rounds of cards and pictionary and still leave enough for 2 kids to wreck havoc. The section we stayed in was connected...

Hotel Review of Club Mahindra Snowpeaks Timber Trail
We had been to Manali on the 2nd Week of December. This was my first ever visit to Manali. We were visiting there with two small kids and old parents. Everyone in our family and well wishers have opposed our visit being the coldest time and freezing temperature there. I had overheard everyone and took a risk to visit Manali, but I must say I have taken a very bold decision and had I not visited the place I would...

Great destination. A must see once in a lifetime. Adventure sports are a must try but quite expensive, but then its once in a while for people like us from the south. Development of infrastructure can go a lot way in making it more famous....

Hotel Review of Club Mahindra Snowpeaks Timber Trail
This was the first time I had taken my family to Manali and as a family man with a 2 yr old daughter, I was looking for a homely, hygienic place where I could essentially make them feel at home while being able to enjoy at their own pace. So, starting off with the frontdesk - no problems there, check in was done quite smoothly (as was the check out.) The porters were very courteous and the staff in fact...

Hotel Review of Club Mahindra Snowpeaks Timber Trail
Tucked away in a valley of its own, facing the deceptive sunrise that lighted up the western peaks first, sent me scampering between the front veranda and the rear window on the first day to actually guess which was east. The food, the service, the house keeping and the front desk were available at all times of the day and night, every day of my stay. Catching the sun's warmth was best done sitting in the restaurant "Meeting Point", where...
