Its a great place to shop for Tibetan artifacts, Juices, Jams and Squashes and fruit wines. There's a lot to see too - the Beas river, the nature park (a pine forest in the heart of manali), the temples, the Mall Road with its shops and restaurants, Old Manali with its interesting shops and restaurents, Rohtang Pass ...

Hotel Review of Kalpana Hotel
Comments: Hii everyone, as i promised with to my friend, i'm writing about Kalpna. Me and my friend christine had a lifetime experience in this hotel, we spent about one week, but that was never enough. we had some tight schedule later on otherwise we would have spent much more time in manali, people are nice and friendly. The location of this resort is the best, we really enjoyed the fabuluos service of kind peopleof this hotel. Shanti, peace and freshness in mind come by its own when here.
Best Experience: Great Indian cuisines, many at times they offer you several dishes for free, if you wanna taste them. people helped us at Rotang pass when our car broke down. plenty of open space to sit in lawn in the evening with some friendly insects(laughing).

Hotel Review of Kalpana Hotel
This is the worst hotel i ever found and lost 3500RS as i i booked this hotel in advance and they did not refund it. Not a good place to stay....
