Manali food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Sight seeing requires three full days. One day for snow point which includes solang valley, rohtang pass. Another day for Kullu manikaran which has natural hot water springs. The last day for local sight seeing. One can spend the evenings on mall road, loittering with your pals or special some one. Shopping is fine with not too expensive merchandise. The food is a bit expensive. But considering that every item is shipped to the hill top from down below, one can expect the prices to be like that. Rest, warm clothes and shawls are fine. There are three 'tension-free' shops which offer the best prices on garments and apparels.

Hotel Review of Snow Valley Resorts
The Destination : Enroute to Manali, tracing along the breathtaking landscapes of the Beas river, you realize that you are going to be treated to something really good. And here it is, Manali, lying amongst pristine pine trees is a beauty that pulls you towards itself.
The Location: Looking around the resort you feel that it was all worth the efforts that you made travelling up here. The true beauty of Manali lies in the best kept secret of Snow Valley Resort. There is so much truth in their punch line.
The Appearance: Its a well maintained resort. The appearance is no different than other resorts in Manali. The reception area and the lobby is very ordinary.
Bookings & front office : The front office staff is very well mannered. We were escorted to our rooms pretty quickly.
The Service: The room service seems to be influenced by the laid back lifestyle in Manali. It took much longer to serve basic things.
The Room : Very neat and clean rooms, although not very well appointed. You feel relaxed as soon as you enter the room. We were surprised to find a fan in the room which is not really needed, but certainly appreciated.
Food & Drink : At times the food was really good, and at times it was just average. But there were quite a lot of choices, so overall it was satisfactory.
Activities: There are good options available. They got a games room with pool, table tennis, etc. There's a gym to help you flex your cold-bitten muscles. Then, there's a discotheque as well... Manali is not a place where you would like to shake your hip in loud music. But there's something for everyone.
: Unlike Shimla, Manali is surrounded by untouched mountains with pine trees all over. That makes great views and you feel really close to nature.
Leisure activities : Games room, Gymnasium, Disco, Hanging around in the terrace, Looking through stuff displayed at their in-house shop.
Mode of travel : Combination
Best time to visit : Summer
How many days to stay: 5_7days
Travel tips : Make sure you visit Rohtang Pass for snow in Summers. The Manali market is also worth a visit. You may find good bargains.
Travel warnings : In winters, this resort is covered with snow. Its beautiful, but at times the snowfall is so much that the roads leading to resort get blocked.

Hotel Review of Snow Valley Resorts
The resort is good. Needs renovation. Rooms are OK. Food needs to be improved. There are however, very less facilities for enterrtainment for a guest. At such a hill station, you have to be in the resort after 6 pm in the evening. So, there should be more to enjoy !!!...

Hotel Review of Snow Valley Resorts
Stay at Snow Valley Resorts, Manali was a wonderful experience. We were there around Christmas time (year 2003) on a package tour of four nights/five days. The view of mountains from the resort was spectacular. It was snowing and the view of snow clad pine trees enhanced the beauty of mountains. It was indeed charismatic. We made it up to 10000' altitude wading through snow covered road towards Rohtang Pass. Rides on horse back...
