Manali food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Its a great place to shop for Tibetan artifacts, Juices, Jams and Squashes and fruit wines. There's a lot to see too - the Beas river, the nature park (a pine forest in the heart of manali), the temples, the Mall Road with its shops and restaurants, Old Manali with its interesting shops and restaurents, Rohtang Pass ...

Hotel Review of Span Resort, The
Comments: We have spent 2 holidays in Span Resorts. The rivulet nearby and the scenic mountain beauty relaxes one's tense nerves. The rooms are spacious and the ambiance is soothing. The gardens are vast and you can sit outside your room feeding the birds and the squirrels. That was one of my husband's favorite past-time. By dusk, the twinkling lights on the mountainside merged with the stars seen in the clear sky above. As it is away from the maddening crowd, it serves the idealistic get away from the humdrum of city life.
Best Experience: The best experience was the view we would get from the dining hall every morning.
Worst Experience: Nothing except when we went in August, it was slightly humid.

Sitting by the river, collecting pebbles and just doing nothing in particular is the cherished memory of Span resorts....
