Hotel Review of Sterling Resorts - Manali
Comments: Excellent and enjoyable mountain experience
Best Experience: Retiring ito the comfort of the room at the end of a tiring day travelling and going around Manali.
Worst Experience: Food and service at the restaurant is poor and is in sharp contract with the resort standard and with restaurants at other Sterling locations.

Sterling Manali is one of the better maintained resorts of Sterling. The Resort is on the other side of River Beas in an area popularly known as New Manali. This gives the visitor an ample peace of mind after a long journey to Manali as compared to hotels/resorts situated on or about the Mall Road. The resort is beautiful and the service and facilities satisfactory. A functioning library, play area and working Activity Department which arranges bon-fires, housies, fun-fairs, etc....

Arriving at Manali after a long road journey, with kids, we were thankfully escorted to our room in quick time. The room, located on the 3rd floor was very difficult to access, for elders, as there was no lift ! Overall the experience was good, they did organise a lot of events during the night which was well attanded and was enjoyable.But it did lack creativity. Overall the food quality is good, but menu is full of rich food.The Menu can have some non-rich food as well Location is not very good, though the views are... The resort could have been a little further away from the main town in a calmer place...

I started from Chennai to Manali with my family during the holidays in the month of May. After a long journey of more than 2500km we reached Manali at morning 7.30 but check in time was 12 noon. Keeping in mind our long journey, the receptionist attended us warmly and informed about check in time and room availability after 12 noon and we understood the technical problem. But he directed the staff to look after our luggage and transfer them...

Excellent place, service is good and very cordial staff. But they don't have 24-hour hot water facility. Thus, many a times if you feel like taking a warm shower, well, no luck. They say no other resort at Manali has 24-hour hot water facility, which I do not believe....
