Alibaug food, sight-seeing and shopping options
the Kolaba fort which is around 700-800 meters away from the beach is walkable during low tide.....tide timings approximately are 3pm to 6pm its definitely low tide n morning time around 12pm is definitely high tide.... at the fort itself there are some amazing views of the sea and otherwise just ancient broken down architecture n one beautiful temple..... try ur best to go to the beach during low tide so u cn walk 2 the fort as it is more fun rather than taking a horse cart ride which charges 160 for two ppl for a return trip and a hour of time at the fort itself...
nothing to shop as such but things are cheap there..... there's even one big reebok showroom with gr8 discounts

Hotel Review of Shreyas Hotel
Comments: overall its was very convinient... value for money.... the place was decently close to the beach... check in n check out ws very easy...no awakward questions asked... they showed us a choice of rooms and we took the one with a balcony... the owner of the place stays rite in front and has a beautifully done up house... the hotel iyself is a very good deal.... they din offer any food but had a meny card of a restaurant which had a very extensive menu and did free home delivery... the hotel charged Rs 20 extra for plates and spoons.... though the food wasnt very good...overall a very good experience
Best Experience: clean environment and friendly staff
Worst Experience: nothing was particularly worng with the hotel... so all good

Hotel Review of Shreyas Hotel
We had been there for our college trip. The hotel has been situated in midst of a bazaar place in Alibagh. Though surroundings are bit crowdier and place is bit small, there are also other advantages. The sea shore is just few foot steps away from hotel.
