the Kolaba fort which is around 700-800 meters away from the beach is walkable during low tide.....tide timings approximately are 3pm to 6pm its definitely low tide n morning time around 12pm is definitely high tide.... at the fort itself there are some amazing views of the sea and otherwise just ancient broken down architecture n one beautiful temple..... try ur best to go to the beach during low tide so u cn walk 2 the fort as it is more fun rather than taking a horse cart ride which charges 160 for two ppl for a return trip and a hour of time at the fort itself... nothing to shop as such but things are cheap there..... there's even one big reebok showroom with gr8 discounts

Hotel Review of Sun Glow Resort
Comments: All the rooms face the sea and have a grand panoramic view of the sea and the fort in the sea. You can even hear the waves of the sea in your room. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is sincere, helpful and polite. The owners are friendly and make staying in the resort a warm and friendly experience. The food is also good and sumptuous, though on the spicy side. The standy by generator keeps the fans working, so the rooms are comfortable even when there is a power failure.
Best Experience: The place is ideal for a short relaxing get away from Mumbai.
Worst Experience: The swimming pool is a quite small and for all practical purposes is useless.
