Value for money. Good hotel and good rooms. Good restaurant. Service in restaurant was slow but OK. Recommended for stay. One of the good hotel in Agra to stay. Clean and neat bathrooms and the room was also good. Check-in and check-out did not take too much time.

Worst hotel I have stayed ever. Rooms were sinking. Very unfriendly staff also. Only one thing positive was location. There are many other hotels at nearby location with same tariff. I will never ever go to this hotel, come what may urgency is there.

Good location and ambience but still miss the 5 star qualities. Needs improvement in room services. A lot was missing in room like toothpaste, slippers for which every time you have to call room service. Food is awesome in place. Furniture and specially cushions are too old. Needs change. Overall a good property but lacks charisma of 5 star. Better be named 4 property.

We were in for a nasty surprise during check-in when they refused to give the room key until "mandatory" Xmas gala dinner charges were paid. Even though child charges were waived off when we protested, we still had to shell out Rs 6700 and there was nothing 'gala' about the dinner; it was an average fare at best.

The rooms were bog standard, with nothing much to write about. The website of the hotel promises "enthralling view of the Taj Mahal", but instead we got to see old, rotting bathtubs from our windows (see pictures).

Admittedly, some of the other hotels also charge for "mandatory" Xmas and new year eve dinners. But why should anything be "mandatory"? Doesn't this take away the freedom of choice from the customer? This is an unfair and unethical practice, which hotels worldwide - including this one - would do well to dispense off if they are serious about providing good service. Else, it is yet another money fleecing clause that is hidden from the customer, and only revealed when it is too late.

As it was closing time for the Taj, and we had to leave our luggage in the rooms, we had no choice but to comply with this ransom demand.

Our sincere advice is to watch out for these hidden "mandatory" charges with your travel agent before you book rooms at hotels such as these. Better still, totally avoid hotels that adhere to this dictatorial practice.

Stayed in this hotel on Christmas Eve with a compulsory Gala Dinner. Room was ok. Asked for a room on higher floor and got it after initial hesitation from front office. Food has hopeless. Neither the dinner was gala nor tasty. Only few options for vegetarians. Paying additional INR 6000 for this was totally waste of money. Staff was not courteous. It took me 30 mins for checkout. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I visited the hotel with my family, overall the rooms were decent with spaces well managed. The hotel does have a 5-10 mins puppet show and is pretty decent. So if there are kids in the group they would enjoy it. Service quality could have been better.

The hotel in itself was nice with well-behaved and cordial staff, but the food/drinks and the restaurant service by the waiters was hopeless, it was good enough to be a 2 star hotel. Need to improve a lot in food and drinks area along with their waiters.
