Built on 25 acres of land, The Marari Resort is located in a fishing village. The resort is separated from the sea by a windbreak of dense palm trees. Guests can enjoy sun sets and nature walks or read a book in the library of the resort. Cycling trips to the nearby villages are among other options.

The resort consists of 52 cottages. The rooms have TV and phone facilities. The cottages are air-conditioned .The bathrooms are open-roofed courtyards, similar to those in traditional kerala homes with hot-and-cold running water. Private pool facilities can be availed at Pool Villa. The multi-cuisine restaurant specializes in Kerala sea-food.
