Matheran food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Echo Point, Panorama Point (Sunrise Point), Porcupine Point (Sunset Point), One tree Hill,
Garbut Point, Heart Point, Rambag Point, Charlotte Lake are some of the places to visit. Matheran has a very small market place. Some of the must buys are different flavours of Chikki and fudge. There are some big shops in the market but one can get the same things even in smaller shops like Sastick Chikki Mart. One more thing not to miss is Leather Chappals. You can buy a variety of leather chappals from Dnyaneshwar Chappal Mart at a reasonable but fixed price.

Hotel Review of Sayeban Hotel
Comments: a lovely place to go only in the off season, best for newly married or youngsters for the weekend.
Best Experience: the hotel where we wnt for our meals HOTEL RAMKRISHNA the couple was gujarati and wud make variation in the meals as per our choice.they provide with all type of meals during the whole day.we cud survive inmatheran only because of them or our kids wudnt allow us stay for so many days.kids enjoyed the horse ride daily as we cud affordto bargain with them on account of off season.
Worst Experience: the food in the hotel was not upto the mark at all. we being pure veg cudnt get proper food as it was an off season and there not being many tourist were not ready to provide food.
