Meghavan Holiday Resort, Dharamshala

Excellent stay at meghavan resort.the location is beautiful,appearanace is excellent,and the sevice is mind blowing,the rooms are excellent and spacious too,cant say about the food as i am a vegetarian,nice garden too, all in all it was like 5 star experience,i would recommend to stay here for your pleasant stay.

Best Experience: The staff was good, service was very fast,prompt service ,you just order at reception and the service is at doorstep,the manger and all were very excellent,no argument for anything.

Worst Experience: Only the worst experience was because of traffic [ not the hotel ]but the traffic took 3 hours to reach our hotel,the roads are very narrow.

Its an ok-types place; good for those who just need a place to dump their luggage while the trek or a place to crash@nite after active sight-seeing etc; but its not for people with kids as theres no recreational activity at all ; other than a small front-garden

Best Experience: they offered us a guide for less-than-market rate.

Worst Experience: No heater is provided in rooms, you have to enquire for it & pay Rs 150/nite as heater-rent. Kitchen closed 10.30pm-7am. Though we had booked b4-hand & reached @ 10.45 due to a road-block, they refused to open the kitchen for tea/dinner; neither was any other place open @ that hour, as a result had 2 sleep hungry!
