The destination for the hotel was good. The complimentary breakfast was provided in the hotel. The overall service of the hotel was good. The room was clean and neat. There were no activities arranged by this hotel. I don’t have any suggestion for this hotel.
The behaviour of the staff’s was friendly in the hotel. The check in and checkout was on time in the hotel. The food was not available in the hotel. There was no activity arranged by the hotel.
The room was good. The garden was not available in the hotel. The parking facility was provided at the hotel. The check in and checkout was done on time. The room was neat and clean. I had visited this hotel with my family. I would recommend this hotel for other travellers. I was satisfied with this hotel stay.
I suggest not to go to this hotel as it is far away from city. Rooms are terrible. Mobile network will not work their. The owner of this hotel is very rude. Customer service is very bad. Wi-Fi shown but it is also not properly work. The owner and staff has attitude problem. Not even book this hotel I had very bad experience.
We stayed there for one day although we planned to stay at Munnar for two days but seeing this hotel Meghdoot we didn't even want to stay for a single day. Rooms and bathrooms having a stinking smell, blankets and bedsheets were not clean, no one was there to listen to your problem. Staff was not at all cooperative. At night when we told manager about our problems, his behaviour was not good, he simply said that if you have any problem you can leave our hotel right now. I suggest don't stay in this hotel.
I have experienced the good quality food, good rooms, excellent service, more over 24 hr hot water available for bathing, every day changing of bed sheets, cleaning of floor, all things are very good and excellent. Outdoor view was good from the balcony.
This hotel located bit far from the main town. This hotel room was well decorated and fully furnished. Its food service were decent but has lot of scope for improvement. Its had good views of the valley on one side. This hotel was in my budget. I was stay here for two days.
The visit to the hotel was a family trip in the month of October. The hotel is close by city and convenient to locate. The services of the staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly and I also remember a driver called Santosh. Around the hotel there is a shopping mall situated. The amenities in the hotel were good in condition and there was no delay in check-in and check-out. The facilities in the room were good and the hotel provided vegetarian food with good quality. The overall, stay in the hotel was value for money.
Meghdoot is located a bit far from the main town but has good views of the valley on one side. Do not expect a luxuriant stay, as the rooms are quite minimalist for the value charged. Food and services were decent but has lot of scope for improvement. The main view points (especially the waterfalls) are quite close. If here, do take a walk on the hillsides which are less noisy compared to the main town side.
Its average hotel, good for just one night stay, economical. Away from town and location is good but front side roads are dirty, staff are co-operative, we have just gone there without booking and luckily we got this, as it was crowded every where, we don't have much options or time to search. We were two families who stayed there.

There was difficulty in finding the hotel and it was convenient to travel. The appearance of the hotel was excellent and interiors are quite attractive. The staff at the hotel were helpful and professional in service and room allotted was spacious and well maintained with required amenities. The food given by the hotel was satisfactory in quality and taste was fine. The hotel lacks in activity but check-in and check-out procedure was done smoothly. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers also and my stay was relaxed and comfortable.
Stay at the hotel was very nice. It was conveniently located. Location of the hotel was fine. Look wise, it was superb. Staff behaviour was helpful and cooperative. Booking and front office staff was perfect. Rooms were neat, clean, and spacious. Pillow cover and bed sheet was neat and clean. TV, AC, geyser, everything were available and working properly. Check-in and check-out service was easy. Nothing was available in activities. Food was available and it was delicious. Varieties were available there in the menu card and both veg and non-veg varieties were served. I will recommend this hotel to other visitors. I went there with my family and it was a relaxing trip. It was totally money worth.
Okay do not mistake the overall rating as a definite factor for your stay here. I have rated this solely because this was what i wanted and what was delivered to me as discussed while checking in. Firstly about the location a small area called Pothema du nestled in between the tea gardens hill of Munnar. Although en route you might come across this place as neat once you are in the center you realize the cost of burgeoning growth in this sector. Not a huge discomfort although a eye soar a-midst this beautiful place. Seriously, I was flabbergasted with the beauty surrounding this place coupled with the morning dew and light fog, it jus left me in awe. Now about the hotel, not a 5 star most definitely. a very comfortable stay for the price i payed. Insist for including breakfast. Am sure with a little courteous but shrewd talking you can get a very cost effective, as with everything else in life. As for the amenities we received towels, hot drinking water on request, and a hot water in the shower not better explained than in the words of my friend... ''i just did not wanna come out''... We stayed for a night, pleasant stay, luckily we had a good movie and a few drinks and phone calls from our near and dear ones to keep us preoccupied through the night. I did not mention food as we were told that the food would be brought from outside so we brought our food from our tour around the town. P.s try avoiding road side food stops, exorbitant prices and not worth the costs. The night was really cool and i want to add pin drop silence as we were quite a bit from the town, the only effects of the traffic were visible headlight from miles across the valley from a road on the hill towards the town. Serene, like watching a television with the mute on. The morning was another cherry on my cake, as excepted because I knew this when i check out my room before checkin. Nothing but the birds chirping and an remarkable view of the tea estate across the hills only got me wondering what was across those hills. For tea we had to step outside, because again as mentioned to us earlier there was no in house cook. Simple, across the street me and my friend found our cuppa, revitalizing mind, body and soul. Then walk. We just went bonkers with our camera in our hand and nature abounding beauty welcoming us with open arms. Of course after we cross the small waste dump on the road sides. Really heart wrenching it is to see the town not being taken care of. A waste management system in Munnar is in order. ((Personally i think the resorts and hotel should step up and give back to Munnar for using her resources. We have to keep these resources for our kids.)) Back into our room i had to gently remind the staff for our breakfast as promised to us. And on the dot at 0730 we got plenty dosas neatly sent to our room. After a quick shower and good breakfast we hit the roads back to Kochi.
meghdoot resort was an awesome resort...we enjoyed alot there n we haven\'t seen such a beautiful place in our life,,the scenic beauty was superb and beautiful in meghdoot resorts...food,neatness of rooms, respect given by them was very good and we are satisfied.
It was a nice hotel and I didn’t face any issue in this hotel. The location of the hotel was convenient. It was around 3 to 4 kms from the bus stand. The staff were not so professional, but they were helpful. They provided quick service to me. The room was neat, clean and well maintained. All the amenities were provided in the room like AC, TV and geyser. The wash-room was neat and clean. All the time cold and hot water facility were provided to me. The restaurant was not there in the hotel. They arranged food from outside. Other activities like indoor and outdoor games were not there in the hotel. I went with my own vehicle for sightseeing.
