We chose this resort for our team outing basis on TripAdvisor ratings and we were not disappointed. We were 10 people and booked 4 standard rooms and 1 deluxe room. Surprisingly the hotel staff converted that to 1 standard room and 4 deluxe rooms. This is a great resort and best location. Awesome villas with great architecture. Stay was quite comfortable. Rooms are very clean and decent options for entertainment. Deluxe rooms are bigger than standard room and can accommodate one extra bed. We had a look at luxury room as well to book for next visit with family. It has a living room, kitchen and bedroom with AC. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Coming to food, The restaurants serves mostly Kerala food and the food was really awesome. Breakfast was having enough options for everybody. Buffet lunch was Kerala style and dinner was North Indian style. A great resort and truly amazing place to stay in a beautiful location. There is a small play area and an amphitheater too. View of tea valley is soothing. They arrange for Bonfire at night. The only thing missing in this Resort is a swimming pool. With not much to do around, provision of a water space within the premises will be a welcome feature. Overall wonderful stay and excellent management. Planning to visit again with Family.
During the month of December 2016 I had been to Mudumalai (Masinagudi) and made my stay in Misty Grove Resort. I went alone to visit Mudumalai (Masinagudi)My travel destination was very good with necessary comforts. I would rate the location as very good transportation is easy from this place. I would rate the appearance of the hotel as good as it is very clean. The staff at the reception was very good because of 24/7 availability. I booked this hotel via online. I would rate the services in the hotel were average. The rooms at the hotel were good because of facilities and decoration. The food in the hotel was good as we can have so many options as according to the season.
The place although it says Masinagudi, it is quite far (around 36 Km - which would take more than hour to drive from Masinagudi) Well google map takes you to the right location This place has everything going in its favour. It boasts of elegant rooms coupled with a warm team that delights guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They arranged for Bonfire at night. Food was delectable. There is a small play area and an amphitheatre too. View of tea valley is soothing .. It's just behind the cottages The restaurant area overlooks a small water pond with lots of fishes adding to environment. Rooms are clean and elegant. Overall a well maintained property. Except for the MISSING SWIMMING POOL ..
Nicely set up resort hotel and its a brand new one. Luxury room I stayed in which is very spacious and worth the money. Some luxury rooms have twin beds, so you better check before hand which one you would like to opt for. Bathroom is also spacious and nicely set Food is also pretty OK with decent spread for both breakfast and dinner. A la carte is also equally good but, you better check what is available otherwise you will be disappointed since most of the items in menu are not prepared as of now. 20 + rooms but, restaurant has just 6 tables in the buffet area which is crazy! Since it is a new hotel they are still learning on how to manage the crowd I guess but, staff are friendly and helping. Camp fire with barbeque and nice music in serene background with a small amphi theatre area is very neatly deigned and set up. Hope they start some activities going forward.
I have visited this place recently and got amazed by its service. Lovely location and staff are very prompt and at your service always. The rooms are neat and clean. Hotel manager will arrange jungle safari in the morning and night as well. Night safari would be an amazing experience. To be frank, you might not spot any animal but it is thrilling at night. In the morning you can surely spot peacock and deer. It is a great weekend gateway from Bangalore.
