Stayed here for 2 nights... Mount Kailash is a very beautiful hotel ... located right next to an apple orchard , a buddhist monastery and with a good view of the Kinner Kailash mountain.

The food was good and the staff were very friendly. We did not face any problem.
The manager suggested places to visit s. Overall it was a good experience

Sangla is a heaven on Earth! It is indeed a place worth visiting situated amidst the lush Kinnaur Valley.

The scenic beauty is seen to be believed. No description is befitting enough.

The stay at Mount Kailash Guest House is a wonderful experience. The place oozes with warmth. The service may be slow or wanting at places but then it is not the finesse of service that one seeks there.....it is in fact the homeliness and the feeling of you just being one of them that counts. The staff there makes you feel special and welcome despite their being untrained which doesn't matter.

The open space around the Hotel is an added advantage for carrying out numerous activities including camp fires.

The view of the surrounding from the Hotel balcony is simply mesmerizing. You may spend the entire day taking pictures or by the riverside.

The trek to Kamru and its fort...a real must see....and the drive to Chitkul make the trip complete.

Overall it was a wonderful trip.

I must say that our selection of the hotel at Sangla was really the best. This hotel witth large open space all around , commands the best mountain view. The rooms ,specially in the two new blocks where we stayed, had large balconies from where we could view lofty snow peaks in our front and left side as also the Baspa river on the right side and also a splendid view of the old village of Kamru on the mountain slope at the back.
The hotel is owned and run by Mr. Negi who is a popular figure in the whole area and owns quite a few Apple orchard. However he enjoys his job of running the hotel and does not mind going out of the way to satisfy his boarders. His assistants in kitchen or for room service are not trained ,naturally service sometimes are neither promt nor efficient, but in remote mountain environment we enjoyed such lazy approach, rather than clockwork precision.
We kept one day for visit to Chitkul near Indo-Tibet border along the Baspa river, and it was an experiene to cherish.
A visit to a near by apple orchard was organised by Mr. negi and we plucked lot of apples from the plants and also had an enjoyable photo session.

Best Experience: The view from the balcony on a moonlit night with snow peaks all around was a heavenly experience.
The day we reached The hotel, there was a drizzle in the afternoon and we witnessed the full rainbow between the mountans. In our city life we are never priviledged to have such a view of the Rainbow.

Worst Experience: Nothing really to mention.

Location wise it is the best as you can view the entire valley and nearby locality at ease. Deluxe rooms are really good with private balcony. But the service is poor as the hotel is actually run single handedly by Mr.Suresh Kumar. The hotel has no intercomm or room service.

Best Experience: The stay was memorable as the entire valley was visible from the room.

Worst Experience: no room service, serving people are non-professional and some are really idiots. It is run by just one individual Mr. Suresh Kumar. He cooks, calculates bill, makes payment, goes to nearby market to buy goods, presents room to visitors, interacts wth foreigners.
