I visited there recently from 15th May to 18th May 2014 with my family ( my daughter is only one and half year old). When you reach there, you feel very good as internal road are good, cottages looks very good (from outside only). Reception is okay. And when you check-in story of horrible experience starts We checked-in at 9:30 PM after eight hours long journey. And their receptionist says you have give Rs 10, 000 advance and shows you their rule book. After some argument they agreed to discuss this thing later as we were very hungry and my daughter was not feeling well after so long journey. We went to restaurant before going to room as they close the buffet at 10 PM (hostel kind of rule). So we get the food at the last moment so some dishes were cold etc. But I must accept that food was good and few waiters were also good (only few) We went to our cottage which had very excellent view. In front we had small pathway and a wall. At the back side we have kind of balcony or veranda and next to us was another cottage's entrance. So from both side you can enjoy the view. Our room number was 110. So if by mistake you have already booked the room then insist them not to a lot this room to you. And one more thing, it has five-six large steps. This was very serious issue for us because my daughter tried to climb it at least 30-40 times in three days. But if you don't have small kids with you then it's okay . Another important thing: If you want to watch TV, you can not sleep because TV is not in bedroom Lots of mosquitoes in room. Since it was very late and we were tired, did not call them for All-out etc. But when next day we asked them to provide All-out, they said its not in stock (that too in the night 11:30PM), I asked them for it at 9-9:30. So you must carry coils or liquid to keep mosquitoes away. Breakfast time was only from 7:30 to 9:30 AM (or 10:00 AM I guess). There you will see a beautiful swimming pool in which we found some bugs and flies along with paper napkin and few crockery around it Advice to others: Don't go here at all. Even if you find the pictures very attractive on various sites.
It was located far away from the city. I visited for business purpose in May. Appearance wise, it was huge property. It was very well-kept. They have lots of cottages there. Staff was very cooperative and helpful. Even the manager was a very good person. I already referred it to many persons. Staff was quickly responding to our requests. Room was neat, clean and very maintained. Everything was properly maintained in the room like bed sheets, pillows, etc. They maintained the property in a very professional manner. Tea maker, geyser, TV, or everything was there in the room and all of them were functioning properly. View was not visible from the room but from outside there was a very beautiful view. Buffet was there and food was very good there. Many restaurants were nearby so most of the clients have food there. Both veg and non-veg food was available there. Breakfast was included in the package. Quality and taste of the food was very good. Cost was reasonable. It is value for money. No delay in check-in and check-out. Everything was reasonably managed. Swimming pool was also very maintained and it is very beautiful nearby dining area. Overall, I was happy with the resort. They should maintain the same quality of the resort. Munnar as a destination is very good. Hotel's location was good. It was very good. Staff was also very good there. Room was very good. Food and drink was also very good. Activity part was very good.
It is located at about 20 km distance from the main city, it's far from the station and bus stand. I went in my own vehicle to this place. The hotel staff was good and friendly and they did a good job. The hotel interior and exterior was good and room was spacious and well-maintained, it has an AC, TV, geyser facility in the room and there was the view from the room. They provided all varieties of good quality food and it was good. It's 24 and 12 hrs check-in and check-out at the hotel and there were activities but I did not participate. They did not arrange a vehicle for sightseeing. It is worth and recommendable for other travellers.
The hotel is a beautiful property, pool is very clean and gives a fantastic view of lush green hills of Munnar. We stayed in a deluxe cottage and rooms were neat and clean, and also comfortable. However, some things appeared to be old and not very maintained. The Ayurveda Centre was good, but when compared to others, it does not offer a very relaxing massage etc. But other facilities like WiFi, house keeping, restaurant, pool, vehicle from reception to main gate etc were very good. As we went on a honeymoon trip so our stay was made special by the hotel with special candle light dinner on the poolside and with a flower arrangement in our rooms. Its a very good hotel for overall experience.
A great stay at mountain club resorts, very comfortable cottages, good location, with good indoor games, nice dining at poolside, transportation to main gate with van and great hospitality Great location, impressive hotel staff, the room was very comfortable in every way. Great place to hangout with friends with inexpensive restaurants and dining. Must take polaris ride lakeside near the resort and a great ayurveda spa inside Resort. Also don't miss the tea factory nearby the resort. Very calm and peaceful stay, no noise and disturbance at all. Overall a great stay in affordable prices with all essentials and amenities.
