'Akki Roti' - rice rotis, are a must at Sakleshpur try the food at Mugilu, a homestay but you might manage a reservation if you call in early enough. Shopping: try some of the coffee plant furniture - great bargains if you know what to look for. Loads of sight seeing opportunities but best if you have your own vehicle.
