Hotel Review of Mountain Trail
Comments: An awesome place with the feeling of home away from home. Simple yet filled with aura of nature all around. Quite and silent to listen to the sounds of lovely birds. Eco-friendly and green. Staff very gentle, courteous and soft spoken. Very well informed and sign boards placed all around to educate the tourists. We had a wonderful experience enjoying the holidays together with spiders and flies.
Best Experience: Plucking the fruits from the trees and eating afresh was something novice to us.
Worst Experience: Nothing much except a few flies having bed tea with us and spiders crawling in the room and bathroom invading our privacy.

Mountain trail is a rip off. if you want to stay in shnaties by the side of the road this is the place. located NOT in Mukteshwar but sargakhet it is a good 6 kms away from the town of Mukteshwar....

Heading towards the hills during peak winter (end Dec) definitely would not be the idea that would cross a normal person's mind. However, this is exactly what I, my brother and a few friends did this winter. And the venue we chose was Mukteshwar, close to Nainital, which gets really chilly in winters. To begin with, we were unsure about our choice, however, when we reached the venue - Mountain Trail Resort, we felt we had taken the right decision....

The Location of this resort & the view is excellent, even the calm surroundings. The place is really nice. If only the quality of room & services were better, I would have done there repeteadly!! After reaching I found there are better places available around this resort. (Sorry, I do not remember the correct dates of check in & check out)...

did not accept credit card at the time of booking and checkout for flimsy reasons, causing anxiety and hardship in getting the requisite cash ready. So carry adequate cash particularly if you visit them off-season. Apart from this one issue, it was a great experience for us adults and kids alike.
