Mukundgarh, a part of Shekhawati region, is located in the Jhunjhunu District. This town was found by Raja Mukund Singh in the 18th century. Havelis in this town are known for their furnished divan khanas. The divan khanas of these havelis showcase wooden furniture, wall hangings and family portraits that belong to the 17th and the 18th century.
There are several temples in the town that are dedicated to Lord Krishna, such as the Venu Gopal Mandir and Gopi Nath temple. Other major tourist attractions in this town are the Fort William Haveli, Ghuwale Wolon Ki Haveli, Ganga Bux Saraf Haveli and Raj Kumar Ganeriwala Kala Kendra.
