Mumbai Zoo, officially known as Veermata Jijabhai Bhonsle Udyan, is located near Byculla. Built during the British rule in 1861, the zoo was then named as Victoria Gardens. The site of this zoo is in proximity to the chawls and slums, the low income housing colonies, of Mumbai.
At the main entrance of the garden lies a clock tower that depicts Italian Renaissance; however the clock does not work anymore due to lack of maintenance. The Mumbai Zoo is home to a large number of endangered species, along with other animals, including lions, bears, tigers, elephants and monkeys.
Along with the Botanical Garden, Mumbai Zoo sprawls across an area of 48 acres. Being the only zoo in the city, it is frequented by hundreds of tourists every month. Travellers can reach this place via public transport modes such as buses, auto rickshaws or taxis. It is also located at a walking distance from the Byculla Railway Station.

1. Title should summarise your review
2. Elaborate. Instead of 'Good sightseeing place', write, 'Beautiful temple with intricate architecture' or 'Kid-friendly park but limited rides'
There is a awesome place and awesome sightseeing at Mumbai Zoo there are a lot of new animals birds and many more new things. This was a awesome experience to see that zoo. Now we are again planning for the zoo with our full family. That would be amazing.
Its a best place to hang out with the family's and friends. For children's its the good place to know about the animal's and there habitat's. So take your children's to the zoo to learn about the animals very closely. If the children see them in really try will learn more properly.
Itís very exciting place you will find many animals out there and you will know the different kind of animals in this wonderful place. My advice doesn't go alone go with your friends or family you will have much more fun. I am hoping for everyone who is planning to go by all the very best in enjoying.
