Hotel Review of AutumnTrees
Comments: Below listed are the pros and cons, decide yourself. I have to list the cons under worst, but they are definitely not the worst.
Best Experience: The positive sides, (much are personal, not generalised)
1. The restaurant is good, specially the food quality. You can get everything, if you give them prior order. We wrote them down the breakfast menu's for our 3 days stay, in advance and we got those without any issues. Same is applicable to luch/dinner. it's not a drive in place, so stocks are very very limited. We even enjoyed our duck special.
2. The staffs are very very co-operative and decent. Specially the restaurant guy and Tambo. They tried to serve us their best. Full marks. The manager, Prashant is nice. Unless you are a troublesome person, you will have good time with him. Sadly, he will not remain in there for long. Best of luck to him for his overseas venture.
3. We got a good discount at around Rs1500 for suits and superior room, that's because of the off-season and we were about to leave seeing the condition of so called standard and deluxe rooms. (even at the cost of advance paid).
4. Prashant tried to help in every aspect. We were accomodative, he too supported. You have to understand where you are in. You should apply a little common sense as to what to expect in where, which most people don't. No matter what you are paying, not everything is available everywhere.
Worst Experience: 1. If you can afford to spend more than Rs2000/night, avoid the hotel. It's not for you.
2. Don't go for standard and deluxe rooms. They are substandard and standard respectively.
3. Their suites looked to me just a bigger deluxe room, that's all.
4. They have got only one superior room, that is decorated and looks decent.
5. the pictures and description of the hotel in web sites are deceptive.
6. You won't get any view from any room. Lots of down below garbages are visible.
7. Unless there is a real shortage of a demand supply graph, I do not understand why the people should go in there with the exception of budget travellers, who want to spend the night only.
8. The rooms are surely overpriced to atleast 100%. No service can be expected, with 2-3 staffs. They serve the restaurant as well.
10. A very very typical hotel to spend the nights.
11. Don't expect any towels/toiletries.

Hotel Review of AutumnTrees
Double rooms are so cramped that it is difficult for a couple with a kid to sleep in the double room. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the linens was stinking. Foods are very costly as the hotel is 08 kms from Munnar and we have no option but to eat in their restaurant....

Hotel Review of AutumnTrees
An average hotel. Definitely not value for money. Rooms: Standard rooms cost 800 rs and 'Deluxe' ones cost 950 rs. However the difference between the two is only of a couple of square feets. Both rooms have the wash basin built in the room (not in the bathroom). Both, in my opinion, are overpriced. I guess Munnar is generally expensive (and overbooked) during peak season. The last time I was in Munnar the town was similarly costly. The hotel is built on a...
