Hotel Review of Chancellor Resort
Comments: Here is an opportunity to check out both heaven and hell!! Don't right me off assuming I'm crazy...read on. Munnar is heaven, paradise on earth, Chancellor is Hell. I have extensively traveled in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu since past 4 yrs and nothing will beat this experience.
Worst Experience: * After 13 Hrs of travel, we were made to wait for 1 Hour to get the room, this in spite of booking a month in advance
* Part of the cottage that we stayed was a make shift garbage and hence had lot of stench and mosquitoes .
* Room service was pathetic, even as simple things as water would take more than an hour
* Food is very pricey and buffet is forced on you.
* People at reception are very cold and are incapable of handling guests.
* Hotel policies are un-friendly.

Munnar is like staying in a heaven that Green all over! quite literally! :D The tea gardens are everywhere and the huge lake on in the foothills is captivating! location was good, but the resort is under construction, room service is poor, good views of valets and mountains, no view of tea gardens.checked out and spent 1 night at cloud 9 ambience was much better , with the view and sound of the waterfall 500m away, mist covered tea gardens...

The location of the resort is the best and nothing else can be said, cuz we had a bad experience with this resort. The cottages are far away from the restaurent and front office and it takes almost an hr to bring a coffee.
