Munnar food, sight-seeing and shopping options
There is 'hotel saravanabavan' for very hygienic and tasty food.it was very cheap too. There are a lot of tea gardens.Avery splendorous view of tea plantations and it was very exciting too . its view was like shells of tortoises from the top angle.

Hotel Review of Oak Fields, Hotel
Comments: We were very disappointed in the hotel. Since we made the booking once we got to India, I wasn't able to check the reviews. Found the bathroom disgusting because the shower was full of mold!!! The food was good but the tables were filthy! The droppings on the placemats from the night before were still there in the morning and I couldn't find a clean table. It's not enjoyable eating when you see that all around you. I actually decided to clean my own table and the management wasn't very helpful either, they seem to turn a blind eye to things pretending that they don't understand you. It such a shame.
Best Experience: The best place in Kerala is Munnar.......we thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing with the tea plantations all around and we enjoyed our little boat ride on the lake.
Worst Experience: Dirty tables in the restaurant and the filthy and moldy shower.

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. It was a building site. The manager assured us the work would cease between 4.30pm and 10am yet the work continued throughout the night with loud banging and hammering. The rooms were mouldy and dirty. The sheets were wet and the rooms cold with no heating....

The Oak Field is far from the maddening crowd, tucked into the hillside and conveniently located to see the sights around Munnar. Just outside the resort are beautiful surroundings for nice long walks and a jaunt to the nearby school gives awe inspiring views of the valley...
