Hotel Review of West Wood Riverside
Comments: I booked this hotel for 2 days in the month of Feb through a website. Everything went fine. In starting there was some confusion among the hotel staff about our booking but soon they made it clear to us that everything is fine.
Though it was our first time visit to Munnar but we had no difficulty to locate this hotel. It is actually very near to the entry point of Munnar. But I was little bit unhappy about the surroundings of the hotel, which was not good as far as the hilly area is concern. I found the hotel staff very helpful. But as I checked in the hotel room, it was below my expactation. The room was small for 2 person. Though the wood work was good but we felt that they could have done more about the space for this room. Even though there was a balcony but again the space problem was there with it. Our package also included Breakfast and Lunch as well and this was the worest exp for us. The food quality was poor. If you leave one or two dishes, it was all crap. Even I told this thing to the Manager as well.
My overall experience was not good with this hotel.
Best Experience: I went for massage in the morning by a doctor. Thought it was not great but it was a better exp for me than food.
Worst Experience: Food and the lack of other activities.

its a memorable stay in my life. The hotel is good for it's surroundings with a river flowing in the back side. From the balcony of the room, one can see the river...in the morning it's particularly superb! one can have a nice walk around the river side. Morning buffet is also good...and the climate is good(March)....

It was a wonderful tour i ever had in my life...may be because it was for our honey moon that we went to Munnar to this West wood hotel.The experience was so good....the scenic view from the hotel and the breakfast table was just excellent!!!...
