Munnar is beautiful. But we had the worst of experience in the resort in my entire life of 35 years(I have travelled almost to every state of India except a few). Hope the future Indian boarders to be prepared to have their self respect at stake when they check into Olive Brooks. Such resorts are polluting the heavenly beauty of a place like Munnar.

Best Experience: We were mesmerized by the manicured yet untamed beauty of Munnar.

Worst Experience: Hope no one is harassed and humiliated the way we were at this resort. Initially the manager was so cordial that we were mislead. We adjusted with the lack of facilities they promised to peovide and charged for. They always gave less number of mineral water than they promised to give. They have some trick with the hot water supply which made my 4 yr son almost sick-he had to stand in the toilet , wet allover, waiting for the hot water to flow! We adjusted with this too. But what one of the partners did on the day before we left was appalling. We had a change of plan and wanted to check out after 2 nights instead of 3 nights which we had planned (I mention PLANNED and not BOOKED). We were ready to pay any extra charges for that. But the manager literally threatened to use unfair means to harass us. But nothing could beat their saying that 'Indians are cheats and we prefer foreigners'! I would rather say that they prefer international guests because they can be cheated easily in a foreign country. It is a shame that they are exploiting the resources of our country for their own benefits and making such disparaging remarks about their own country people.

It is na small but nice resort, located in cxardamom plantation. Service and food was good. The food was pretty expensive compared to quantity and quality. Even room rent was more w.r.t. the facilities provided. Staff was very good and cooperative.

Best Experience: Its location, food and service was good.

Worst Experience: We were told about actvities like camp-fire, guide etc. while booking but nothing was there.
