Hotel Review of Beach Resort Silver Sand
Comments: Pathetic place?

The look of the place is very very artificial & made up ? stilt houses with asbestos and tin roofs that fall apart during rains & wind. The place looks so artificial ? different stilt houses of different colors ? red, yellow, green etc.. Nothing natural whatsoever.

Three hours before reaching the place, we had called them up to confirm room availability. They had confirmed that a ?Family Cottage? accommodation was available. However, when we reached there, the receptionist very rudely said that no rooms were available. There was one ?Sea View Couple Cottage? & its roof had fallen apart. She could give us that room, but we anyways would have to pay the entire amount. The entire staff was really rude (no signs of apologies what-so-ever) & said they could do nothing about it. We then went looking for other hotels and found Kamath Beach resort ? which is a little better off but definitely not a ?repeatable? experience. Best to skip Harnai..

Best Experience: None..
Worst Experience: They refused to give us a room after having confirmed availability just 3 hrs ago.. + the look & feel of place is very artificial - plastic & tin kind of... :-(
